True. To an absurd degree. If you think about just how fucking crazy the Archeo-Tech is and that the Chaos gods were basicly on the floor because humanity just fucking ignored them as well as most of what gave them power. No deseases anymore, no passionate war (just clinical removal via nano-kill bots attacking DNA strains in the body or Men of Iron, no wondering about the future and altering it since the future was so bright and no fear was around tzeench was only fed by knowledge gaining (a fairly enormous amount tbf) and slaanesh wasn‘t arounf yet. Orks weren‘t a problem neither and almost died out in most palces because their waaagh spirit was at an all time low with only invisible bots to fight that didn‘t even punch anything only boyz falling over sometimes not even working spores staying around long enough. 100% safe void travel. I mean tbh I get the hate for the xenos by the Big-E, all that was lost because the Eldar got to arrogant. But even them at the height of their power were not on bad terms with the human empire simply cause both sides didn‘t feel like they‘d have any easy time fighting. THE ELDAR at their best though it would be COSTLY AND NOT GUARANTEED TO WIN. We talk about a species that willed planets into reality. I mean god fucking damn it boy

Depends. 40k lore is inconcistent as fuck. In some books Lasguns fire lasers. In some ionozided plasma. Sometimes they have recoil. Sometimes they don't. The hit with the force of a .50cal in some places. In others they hit with the force of 7.62. It's all really inconcisitent. Which is the price for so much lore.

@ramonarudisuli9172 considering imperial flak armor can withstand a shot from a lasgun, and flak armor mind you is essentially ceramic plates, which is what our forces use. I disagree. Lasgun is at best a 7.62 energy rifle. If it really hit like a .50 cal then the space marines would get murdered easily by a group of guardsman. In case you don't know, the space marine bolter fired a .75 cal bullet or about 3mm wider than a 12 gauge shotgun shell. Hot shot las maybe goes up to a high powered 9mm or 10mm bullet equivalent but that's about it. 40ks insanity is merely perception mate.

@@SirBeast1992 yeah i know that. But the thing is it's inconsicstent aswell. From a logical stand point it's equivelant to a 7.62 maybe higher. Since they are in lore considered equal to autoguns. Which fire something like 7.62, if i remember correctly. With a better propelent so a bit stronger. But warhammer lore often contradicts itself. You have sources saying a custodes is stronger then a space marine. The you have spaces marines throwing custodes around like children. Because there are some many books, even the author can't know them all. So somethings say that, some say that. Because there are books in which flak can be pierced by lasguns. In others it can't. In some it even pierces space marine armor. It's always what the author says it is. But yes, equivelent to 7.62 is my general opinion.

I think it's stupid to insult someone over something like that. We're all just random internet strangers that love one thing. And talk about it.
