The iMac G3's gumdrop shape and Bondi Blue transparent plastic is forever ingrained in my memories. When I was a little girl, my school had iMacs instead of PCs, which they started using in 2003.

My favorite iMacs are G3 and G4, I still use my G3 for Garageband and iTunes for listen to the Radio stations. The G4 i still use it to transfer mi old Handycam and analog (Betamax and VHS) videos. Still very useful both machines

G5 is PPC based so Windows can't run on it. You probably mean the first Intel iMac that was externally identical to the G5.

I've never really been a big fan of apple and their products, but you gotta respect how revolutionary they were and what a genius Jobs was, huge fan of his work. I have and still use the 27" iMac from 2014. It has a Retina 5k display. 4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7. 32 GB 1861 MHz DDR3. AMD Radeon R9 M395K 4 GB. It did cost me 4.895€ at that time it was build. But all in one nice video, thanks for your upload!

There were a number of PC produced by Apple before the Mac line. Apple II (IIe, IIc, etc.) in huge numbers. The I and the Lisa were not really reaching the masses.

I actually own the 2021 M1 iMac myself. I spent $1700 to get 8GB RAM and a 512GB SSD. It also comes with an ethernet port in the brick and 4 USB-C ports. I absolutely love my iMac. It is really as fast as they say. I can run full fledged games where my other computers cannot.

I do have iMac G4 and iMac that was both my mother’s. They still both work. I do liked them both because both of them that I can play CD’s or DVD’s in them. I used to have iMac 3G in this turquoise blue coloring. I even have my mother’s 11 inch iMac Air but,one key doesn’t work on it. I bought a 13 inch iMac Air just over 3 years ago. I do have something wrong with that iMac Air. It does work with the cord in it. When I take the cord out it goes off. I still have it.
