Since Pyro doesn't speed up enemies anymore, I use him on Fallen Mode. Pyro deletes 50% of enemy's armour, so enemy become easy to kill. I won Fallen Mode with Pyro + Ranger + Support. Pyro was deleting Fallen Hero and Guardian's armour, so Rangers killed them easily.

@@DADDYGOKU622 I tired to talk everyone, why Pyro doesn't slow down enemies anymore. When Below added Hardcore, he thought about towers which already was in game. He understood, that community will blame him, because Hardcore would be easy if Pyro still slows down enemies and John still John, not Militant. Below had to rework all towers in game, so other towers would have since of existence in future updates. For example, Toxic Gunner. Toxic Gunner would be useless, if Pyro still slows down enemies, because Toxic Gunner is: 1). Unobtainable for now, so he is very rare tower. 2). Can hit only 1 enemy. 3). Do the same thing, like Old Pyro - Slows down enemies by 40%. And Pyro is: 1). Obtainable every time for everyone. 2). Can hit multiple enemies. 3). Slows down enemies by 50% - better than Toxic Gunner. Like you see, Toxic Gunner compare to Old Pyro would be useless - reason, why Below deleted Pyro's ability Slows down enemies by 50%. But you are right, Pyro needs a buff, because Pyro isn't such needed support tower like Commander or Dj.

I would say Pyro no longer speeds enemies up, so pyro is useful for destroying defense in fallen. 2. Pyromancer is now also good for hardcore, lead stuff 3. it does 2 damage per shot (idk about golden pyro) with high firerate so it drills through HP on early waves, and the burn wont help zombies either. so Pyro: good

Pyro is not BAD necessarily people just look at the speed up and assume it bad it was godly in the frost event because it could do a lot of damage and It could half the shield of the frost guy with shield (I forgot his name) with his natural power. Sure he can be useless for bosses but his early game power on all modes is godly (except hardcore of course) golden pyro is a good buff but not a gold tower you will use unless you are in the frost update. Pyro overall is not bad just look at all the stats he gets on every level.

Well you wont buy a support (pyro) before a high dps, but once you have mini or militant, defense melting actually makes a huge difference on fallen

in my expierence golden pyro can actually be a good molten soloing early game tower yeah the fact he dosnt do much damage to moltens but you would have a high dps tower at that time so mainly golden pyro is very good for early defense

@@dansmith6300golden pyro on fallen can solo first 6 waves, to beat wave 7-9 you only need 2 upgrades which dont cost alot, after that it becomes kinda useless until giant boss spam where its defense melting can even replace commander defense melting on fallen heroes and fallen guardians makes those enemies pretty trivial as well

@@dansmith6300 not saying i struggle with defense, defense melting makes fallen guardians way easier to kill, and you can focus on fallen boss way earlier. i tried last update gold mini, ranger, commander, dj, golden scout on abandoned city and the boss made it pretty far. Using the same loadout with golden pyro instead of scout, fallen boss barely made it past half way
