Man its cool how, no matter how many years have passed, it still gives off the same vibes as it would back in the 1970s.

World masterpiece theater is just pure and beautiful art that is not like those sick new animes unfortunately I go back to little princess Sara and the industry never learns its just like hayao miyazaki said “anime is made by people who ow can’t stand to look to other humans”.

In France, Heidi and every WMT series from Anne of Green Gables (1979) until Tico of the Seven Seas (1994) have been dubbed, the most popular ones there are Tom Sawyer and Princess Sarah.

So, I cosplayed Nello from Dog of Flanders (1997 film version) last May. Here is some other WMT characters I will cosplay next: 1.Sterling North from Rascal The Raccoon (1977) 2.Cedric "Cedie" Errol from Little Prince Cedie (1988) 3. Alfredo Martini from Romeo's Blue Skies (1995) 4.John from Famous Dog Lassie (1996)

Why does Nippon Animation chosen a male singer for Bush baby while all others were sung by female?

It would be nice if its company at least uploads the entire series to youtube, like how some companies also decided to upload theirs. Detective Conan for example, but the problem is those are all region-locked to merely Japan. This series, full of wholesome content, shaped a lot of people's childhoods, mine included, and even adults watched it, all over the globe. It would be amazing if they upload it, they won't region-lock it and then it can be shared to the present and future generations. They can even let fans do the subtitles in their languages so they won't have to do much.

I ended up finding your all-time OP list again and have to say, this channel is really striking my personal interests. Going from Air OST, being my second fav of all-time in that category, to Hal Film Makers who did Aria and Tamayura, to my favourite block of anime being WMT. Really neat stuff

I watched heidi when I was 5 or 6. It was my first anime and cartoon, even before tom & jerry. I haven't watched it since but I still remember some incidents of some episodes. I remember her beautiful bed by the round window. Also about a woman in the city who was rude to heidi, hiding something like sweets or potatoes in a wardrobe? Maybe.. I'm sure that was not it and I've probably forgotten a lot of it. I also remember clara or claire coming to visit heidi in the mountains and then she fell down from her wheelchair. And later, around 2016, that falling incident became a meme. Anyways, can you recommend some happy or funny or even just slice of life genre animes from world masterpiece theatre series? Something which is not similar to princess sarah? I've also watched 'little women' so apart from these two? In return, I'll recommend two animes which were equally good but not a part of this series like 'Cinderella monogatari' or the 'Legend of Zorro'. These had similar animation style as well. Also 'Snow white monogatari'? I think that's the right name. Maybe.. I don't remember now.

Ending of The Bush baby is so sad as well as heart touching, My Annette has a happy satisfying ending, then My Daddy long legs had a happy ending, Nobody girl Remi had a happy and satisfying ending.

What about Doraemon 1973? It was produced by Nippon Animation though it became a failure. And probably my favourite ones are story of pollyanna and Nobody's girl Remy.

@@Jamison2210 You included Dororo so this would contradict your comment. With that said, Doraemon was not included in the masterpiece series bc it was it's own production. But Dororo and Moomin are considered to be in a predecessor series to World Masterpiece
