The Thwomp from Super Mario 64 is the only one of the Super Mario games that is more square, bluer and without spikes, probably because of the console's hardware.

I noticed in Super Mario Galaxy 2 that a Thwomp had two faces, one on either side. However, the Lego Thwomp only has one face.
