Glad they didn’t forget about them.they where the star of nintendo until they where forgotten But returned in new super mario bros wii then U & 2 but then the series died so did the koopalings....... they only appeared in spin-offs.... but the boss battles where gone Until this smm2 update! That makes me happy

each koopaling strength (in my opinion based on what I've seen in multiple videos) Larry: shoots his magic attack faster than everyone else, more precise shell movement, and can shell jump small ledges, 2nd most koopaling to have a higher jump than the other koopalings Roy: biggest shell movement, constantly morphs into shell, can dig through dirt and re appear on either the ground or above (given the design of stage), and can cause earthquake (given if he falls from above) cons: roy shoots the slowest Lemmy: moves around on his circus ball, shoots magic balls that knock you around (and last for a good amount of time), fastest shell movement (as far as I can tell) Wendy O' Koopa: shoots magic rings that can rebound off of the ground, walls and ceilings, does small hops as regular movement (but jumps highest in water) cons: her shell movement is slower in water (I think) Iggy: runs around instead of jumping. cons: hes the easiest of the koopalings lmao Morton: Bigger (but slower) shell movement, has an earth shattering ground pound combined with a magic attack that splits in two that connects to terrain and move opposite of each other, (in my opinion) is 2nd most hardest koopa to deal with. cons: has an IQ of -1 Ludwig: Most versatile movement and pattern, best jump (and can flutter jump 1 - 3 times in one jump), shoots a 3 burst magic attack in all directions, and, (in my opinion still but let's just face it) is the hardest of all the koopalings to be dealt with. Reply to me if I missed anything or have your own thoughts on the decisions I made. EDIT: also I didn't realizes it till i was about to leave but to be more verbally correct, Ludwig shoots a magic 3 AIR burst attack, just to be more accurate.

So a run up of the old bosses Boom-Boom: Demoted to Mini-Boss. Pom-Pom: Currently the only Koopaling in 3d world. Bowser Jr.: yesterday's kid star Bowser: Out of work because his children took his job. Now the Koopalings Iggy: nothing special from the other koopalings. Great as a 1st world boss. Roy: because of its burrow ability you need to include a ceiling in his boss battles. Ziggy: The ball he stands on makes him taller, but because his ball attacks do no damage and just bounce Mario around like a donut, best to include some hazards like spikes or pits for Ziggy's attacks to push him in. Wendy: Her diagonal attacks ricochet off of walls so use a closed space or a loop to include that attacks will remain persistent. Larry: At first Larry seems a lot like Iggy but since he always faces Mario and moves backwards he is deceptively more difficult than it seems. Good for mid to late world boss when you start to ramp up the difficulty. Morton: His ground pound stun attack followed by ground and wall traveling fireballs makes him one of the more difficult bosses. He pretty much took Bowser Jr's job. Ludwig: Spread Attack with final hit increasing number of projectiles. As well as a long jump time makes him the most difficult koopaling. If you want to replace Bowser as a final boss just give this guy a mushroom.

I want to recreate Roy Koopa in Super Mario Bros X, but I only have Larry and Ludwig. Super Mario Bros X allows the use of custom graphics. I was okay with Morton and Iggy because they have the same moveset as Larry in Super Mario Bros 3, but Roy is a bit different. The only way to paralyze the player in Super Mario Bros X is with a Sledge Bro.
