@@irfanhaziq720 all enemies appear on the mini-map while crouching. That's why they sometimes disapear, when you stop crouching. The enemies on mini-map in Syndicate and Unity are the worst afte the fully-RPG ones, which don't count and AC1

I’m AC odyssey you can definitely knockout enemies but not civilians. It’s the main way to recruit lieutenants to your ship but if you don’t recruit them they’ll lie there half dead

In ac3 to rogue, you can perform brutal takedown which is simply hold free run button while not moving and then click left mouse, the takedown animation is various from front and behind. The brutal takedown is applied to all weapons like sword, tomahawk, hidden blade, fist, axe, and musket

The unarmed brutal takedowns in 3 are I believe punch in the stomach then choke in front and literally picking the man up and slamming him to the fucking floor from behind. Don't quote me on that I haven't played it in a while but I believe that's the case.

in the original AC3 you can toggle precision mode, move to a targetted civilian and press attack to assassinate him (possible with all tolls i think) but don't press the quick shoot/quick tool use button. In the remaster it won't allow you to do it cuz you must press assassinate to shoot. And you can also use it to for example hang them with a rope dart. It works for knockouting civilians too, but you have the remastered AC3 so you couldn't include it.

You can have a non aimable tool like horse whistle or rope dart equipped and still target civilians like the original Ac3.

@@lephantomchickn3676 You can throw a smoke bomb using precision mode. I have tested that. And In Britherhood/Revelations you need to lock on a target and throw a bomb. It will exactly explode around them. And using the horse whistle in precision mode would probably have your horse assassinate a target 🤣

Unity and Syndicate you hold B (parkour down button). Origins you need to unequip your melee weapon. Odyssey you press Left Stick (console) or equivalent. All main games have non lethal stealth takedowns except 1, 2, and Valhalla

Not really in origins you must take the weapons away, in odyssey and valhalla too , in valhalla can you a dropkick to the enemy and he his ko.

You can actually knock people out in Odyssey, in fact, it's the main (and only way as far as I know) to recruit lieutenants for your ship, for me, I just focus on increasing assassin damage, but I know there are other ways to knock them out

as someone who played ac3 for more than 1k hours IK you can touch civilians with bare hands, you just need to point them with your croshair. the default button is f, press f to point a civilian and than you can choke them.

I wish we had more civilian-like outfits. Like in Syndicate, top hat and all but when it’s time to assassinate, the hood comes on. I mean seriously… if you were an enemy and saw a guy in a hood armed to the teeth with weapons visible on a person wouldn’t that make the whole, blending/hiding in plain sight?

In the older titles, you had the option of normal and heightened stance. So if you choose hidden blade as weapon and are at a safe distance from other enemies, then you can silently kill one without alerting the other straightaway (provided you were in normal stance)

In AC 3, if you play on defult contrls with keyboard, you can press f to lock on a civilian and do a sneak unarmed assassination which doesnt count as killing them and wont give you desynconization

In AC3, Liberation, Black Flag, Freedom Cry and Rogue; if you lock/aim at a civilian and do the unarmed or hidden blade, in fact Connor will attack depending on what you chose. Don’t know anything for the other ones

In Assassin's creed 3 you can activate manual targeting unarmed and if you target a civilian, you can assassinate or knock them out. Also in that game, you can kick a person twice while unarmed to kill them

AC games have never had a such a thing such as "unarmed assassination". Every AC game has unarmed attacks as non-lethal and the "assassinations" while barehanded are just non-lethal takedowns. Speaking of barehanded, my favorite combat mechanic in entire AC series is exclusively limited to Ezio trilogy where if you use unarmed combat, you can take the weapons from the enemies with the counter attack and then kill them with their own weapons. Face one of those heavily armored guys with a large hammer that are really tough? Take his hammer and he's defenseless as you beat him to death with it! Cruel but effective!

You can knock out unarmed silentlyin syndicate and unity. No offensive question but how long did you play odyssey? Because later on in the game you unlock to silently take enemys down unarmed. Also in valhalla there is an animation if you make a heavy attack with fist from behind and front and i would count that as a takedown unarmed

Actually in AC 3 you can harm civilians and domesticated animals by aiming at them. In the PC versionyou have to press F, aim at them, get close and then attack, I’ve actually killed civilians, dogs, pigs and other animals; and you can also drop on civilians and use them as cushions for when you drop by being unarmed, and while at a rooftop aim at the civilians below by pressing F and then left click to drop on them.
