Just bought one and got it installed a few weeks ago! Can’t wait to sleep in it in a few weeks on my first road trip with it! Incredibly easy for a 5’5” female to open and close by myself - my favorite part so far!

Amazing job guys. It looks like you have fixed a lot of complaints I have with my Evo V1. The ladder that extends out and away from the vehicle, plus being on hooks that connect to the exterior of the tent instead of hooks being on the ladder itself and interfering with the tent zippers. The mattress looks like a massive upgrade. The additional metal latches, instead of the rubber ones and the additional pockets. The dimming light is a plus too. Well done. Ill being hitting you up asap to try and retrofit my V1. Thank you for the walk around.

You can actually buy those latches for your v1 tent. I just did it and highly recommended it

Just spoke to their customer service. V2 retrofits will only work for the V1 55” (larger size) unfortunately for us with the 49” we are SOL…..for now. Hopefully they can get us some retrofits in the near future.

Same here! Got mine 9 months ago. If I knew I would have waited. Fingers crossed they would have some retrofits for us! That would be so dope! It’s cool that Freespirit heard the complaints and made updates though. I love their product and customer service always been great.

I already looked into this. I also have the V1. Mattress update is already available. Interior shell update should be available this May for the 55”!! Amazing company thinking about the customer and allowing us to upgrade instead of forcing you to buy a new model.

I just ordered My V2 long on the Black Friday sale. End of season sale so I wonder if they have a V3 version coming next year. This looks like it checked all the boxes for me though. Adding the load bars. Putting on my Power Wagon so looking forward to some off grid overlanding.

You should put the tri-layer on the inside on your next gen. That way you can open the windows from inside the tent easily.

This is it I think I found the tent. Can it mount on stock SUV side rails + load bearing crossbars? Or does it need a rhino/arb type of rack?

Your website says that the mattress is 52” wide. That is smaller than a full-size bed and not close to a queen.

Do you guys fix your last version tents? Say, what if a tree fell on it and bent the frame a bit...ok a lot... Any ideas? The tent is intact, no rips..some metal broke, aluminum frame is bent out of whack but not broken.

Why aren’t the screens on the outside? It doesn’t make sense that in order to open the window you need to undo the screen and then the windows and zip the screen closed again.
