I've ridden those exact trails on my OneWheels, many times. Sounds like we have a similar top speed 🤔, only real difference is the OW can go more places, even over rocks and sand. Glad to see how the evo works, great work 👍

I have some mean hills out here in Idaho but never tried to go up them.... I also do some down hill mountain biking and always love taking my longboard in stupid places with regular road tires on. I just might have to invest.
@SeanOzz4 жыл бұрын
They are a blast. The fact it has a brake is huge. Lol
@saniwada3 жыл бұрын
You really should have had the street setup on the evolve , it not a fair comparison since the street tires give the meepo a massive advantage on the street since they can grip better.
@SeanOzz3 жыл бұрын
i disagree... if you want the all terrain but are curious how it is against a cheeper street set up like the meepo than this is perfect to see.
@saniwada3 жыл бұрын
@@SeanOzz that argument doesn't make much sense, AT and street setups are good for completely different use cases down to the laws governing eboards in your area. Someone who want an AT set up doesn't care about a cheaper street set up because the street set up doesn't fulfil their needs and vica versa. this is the equivalent comparing a BMW 3 series and a range rover. They are products with differences that are greater than just price they are different in intended function.
@SeanOzz3 жыл бұрын
Again. Totally disagree. To me it was very important. Which is why I made the video. To you it's not and thats ok by me. Don't worry I'm not judging you for your opinion and I'm excited to see your video on this. Please link me when u get it up. Can't wait.

yes it does, with the all terrain wheels. street wheels they should have a closer top end.

I wonder how long people are going to keep saying that evolve is the best board out there when it really truly isn’t in today’s day and age. In the past couple years maybe but I think technology has passed where the top of evolves product line was when it was the top so they definitely need to come out with something better
@SeanOzz3 жыл бұрын
I never said its the best. Lol Did you think I did or was that just a question to ask a question. Personally I'm looking forward to the bajaboard. I looked at other high end boards but the evolve just kept winning out for this summers purchase.
@Tryingtobe_matt3 жыл бұрын
@@SeanOzz na the comment wasn’t really directed at you it’s more along the lines of opening up the conversation in the general Esk8 community to what used to be top of the line ,now falls somewhere in the “middle “ spec wise yet still commands a high end price tag.
@SeanOzz3 жыл бұрын
Gotcha. That's what I was assuming but figured I'd ask to be clear. There sure are some good ones. Even the meepos are great for what they are. I personally wanted one of the carbons for a lot of reasons before going into the 4000 dollar range like the baja.
@Tryingtobe_matt3 жыл бұрын
@@SeanOzz yea Baja’s are siiiick but big 💰. I’ve been looking into the ecomobl et for around 1k w/planetary gears ⚙️ and some solid specs . They also have a “Baja clone “ basically that’s around 1,600 ish that looks solid ( definitely not Baja ) .
@SeanOzz3 жыл бұрын
That clone sucks for the money. Know someone who got one and snapped it the first month they had it.

Evolve the Lamborghini of esk8 losing a speed test & hill test to a $600 dollar board LOL
@SeanOzz4 жыл бұрын
Right... I was not expecting that at all. I need to go direct to that hill with full battery on all 3 boards and try and figure out a way to time them all up it.
@damienhog64123 жыл бұрын
The evolve was on an AT setup and had a heavier rider :/ its not at all a fair comparison, especially when you consider that the evolve also has tones of options for street wheels
@esk8unity3 жыл бұрын
wayyyy more to skating then straight line top speed riding. plus, u can get a 23t and use 100mm -107mm or 110m and get 29-30mph is is PLENTY. But evolve is about the endless wave and quality and best customer service. not cut corners and do ONLY high top speed.. lastly “lamborgini of esk8” is just marketing.. meepo does it, lacroix does it, maxfind does it, Honda does it, phillips appliances does it, exway does it, i think u get it.. dont let a marketing logo brainwash you lol.

meepo board all the way. evolve has their stuff made in china as well so the term "cheap china knock off" refers to who, exactly? Evolve uses inferior lipo flat packs instead of the lithium ion cells used in meepos and most other "cheap" knock offs. Who's really the knock-off, the company that upcharges for fluff, or the company that sells you raw fun for an affordable price.
