@@LeeWright DKP trucks @ high speeds were always meh until I got Riptide's Eskate DKP kit. Literally like night and day difference in how it handles, all for the better.

These are first generation Elofty 58kV DD motors, notoriously unreliable and shoddily built. Lesson learned!

@@BarisErgun If it was today, I would have gone for Boundmotor ones, as they are a gen 2 motor with increased can protection and better build quality. It's still a new technology, so it may be a hit and miss for now!

Those cheep Chinese bushing? I changed mine out with venom step barrels hard bottoms mid tops ,with a little mod to the hanger ,mate speed wobbles disappeared .travel well 🙏🏻😌

DKP at speed is an acquired taste make home a solid aluminium bushing for the rear. That way he isnt riding the Dragon at 45km/hour. its fine on a 22Mile/hour evolve but this will double that in speed.

Well set up bushings do away with speed issues on DKPs. This film was done with original bushings, which were not even dialled in. I set them up later on and it rides like a dream - no speed wobbles and perfect carve

The stealth, the design simplicity, less moving parts, lower maintenance (if you have no issues with the board, that is!), free rolling... it's just a feel good board!

*I miss videos like this.* Reminds me of Mo Mondays 😥 or when Tim popped by to pick up his custom. I wasn't sold on 4wd but with this direct drive it actually looked pretty impressive. I kinda like the test and tune look grip tape when it's bein tested and tuned 😂 Cos when it's brand new and people ruin it durin testin it's sad lol.

I have been wondering about this exact idea and can not find anything for hub tyres. The quietness and power mix is exactly what I am looking for. Keep us posted on how the adapters hold up and how the motors get along. Great video, board is a beauty!

On first impressions, given this is a 4wd, I don't think there's a whole lot of load on each of the motor. Plus, they are 58kV, which helps torque. The adapters are made specifically for these wheels and seem to hold up pretty well

oui, il est très content de la planche! bien qu'un moteur meurt déjà - je pense que c'est la mauvaise construction du fabricant. Je vais le convertir en entraînement par courroie maintenant

Test grip tape is for testing. It's all good. With that said, I've been wondering if you can have clear grip tap with recessed LED panels behind acrylic covers within the deck. Is that possible or do you think that's way too much cut out of the deck and it'll hinder structural integrity? I've seen some sweet Z-pattern illuminated panels that are slim and 12v powered. Instead of underglow I wanted to try in-deck illumination upwards.

Elofty dd's suck . They are cheap piles of crap. Hit or miss on those. Not really any good DD's on the market. I would stay away for the time being and go gear drive from "boardnamics".

I've since had the front set of Elofty's replaced for boundmotors ones and they are solid!
