I rode the abec 11 97mm evolve from 2017-2024, and they always took good care of me. I am coming back to 97 to get some of that grip they are selling

Solid review! Just wish they were a little cheaper. So many good wheel options out there and I think they might price themselves out.

Always clear and concise Esk8unity. Ive been meaning to try out the caguama but I own a B-One Balrog X and I just dont want to scrape more than I already am on my 105 Ingen Hyperdrives. suggestions?

Would you say these are more a Cloudwheel Discovery based ABEC core?
@ALTRON33 ай бұрын
I have a couple sets of the original evolve 97's. I'm interested to see if these are any better. Wish they'd just go kegel for all their cores and be done with it. for simplicities sake. That price though. Ouch.

Hey Fred, great review! I’m a bit confused about your loose bash guard with street wheels theory. I own a Evolve Onirique with street wheels and the bash guard and it is not loose. As I’m tempted to buy a Evolve bamboo Diablo with the optional bash guard, i’m curious to hear more about that. It would be very nice from you if you could take the time to answer. Cheers from Belgium

@@remyslosse1392 do u ride a lot in the city? lots of debris, potholes, bad roads, manhole covers, etc etc? with everyone i know including myself, my bashguards alwaysss come lose sooner or later when riding thane. bamboo diablo is my favorite board! use discount code “esk8unity_50off” at checkout!!

Between these and the cloudwheel FE 120mm, which would you recommend?
@esk8jaimes2 ай бұрын
Smaller wheels for more range, but with a 55a soft core these are definitely worth a try. Previously, the softest we got with 90-105mm wheels was 72a softness.

how do they compare to pneumatic tires like evolves 7”???
@scienz02203 ай бұрын
Just my 2 cents but you will get better grip and much more generous breaking points on turns with pneumatic, at the cost of acceleration and battery range. It's apples and oranges in a way
@boardenjoy28053 ай бұрын
@@scienz0220 This is also what I am feeling. Pneumatic brings a lot of confort and grip. With my 110MM torqueboards, I often loose the grip during turns. Hard wheel requires a much better body positional. Also any bump on the road is a challenge to make sure I will stay on the board. It is more fun.

Too bad they didnt use a standard ABEC. I would have bought some. :-( They look super nice!
@scienz02203 ай бұрын
Maybe you could use custom pulleys and belts, depending which board you ride? hope you figure something out
@esk8jaimes2 ай бұрын
is it the Cloudwheel Discovery ABEC core?
@WorldMoneyWins2 ай бұрын
@@esk8jaimes I dont know. I have an Acedeck Ares X-3 Gear and it comes with kegel, and standard ABEC adapters.
