ES is a legendary set that will make history, and in 10 years people will want to own sealed ES not to open but to just say "hey I have sealed ES in my collection" etbs packs, booster boxes ANYTHING ES will be sky high.

I was also lucky enough to be driving across the country when those C22 tins came out and stopped into some Walmarts in the middle of absolutely nowhere and found 28 tins throughout like 7 different stores. I intentionally found the most middle-of-nowhere stores and only went to those haha. I may open them eventually or keep em for later to sell.

Remember what happened with hidden fates and shining fates shiny charizards? For a while they were 800-1200 dollars raw over the years, getting them raw now has decreased by a chunk. This will also happen to the umbreon once a better set and card comes out. Yea they're hard to pull but theres so many of them out there. If people stop buying at these expensive prices it will go down some.

I bought a booster box of every SWSH set. Evolving skies was the only set I preordered. a case for (and still have) because of the crazy set list before it released. I also have 2 sets of the PC ETB, 2 3 pack hangers, AND 5 of the hanger packs (like the only Unbroken Bonds ones) that have 3 packs. 5 of the Sams bundle ETBs that were $37.99 for a ES ETB and a tin (tin has 2 ES Packs in it) and a couple of single pack blisters.

Whats up guys. You could buy the Pokemon Knockout Collection hanger boxes for $10 (I got mine at Family Dollar) Each Knockout has (1) Evolving Skies booster and (1) Fusion Strike booster. I am not sure if it's worth it or not but I bought 3 of them and now I have 3 Evolving Skies boosters I can put away for a while. Thanks for the video.

5 booster boxes (all first drop), 155 sleeved, 8 Umbreon triple blisters and 30 Checklane blisters ( many have swirl promos as I looked for those rather than just buying all of them.) A grocery store near me had an opening and had about 200 - 300 sleeved at $5…..I thought they had dropped again and passed on them but was just stored inventory for the opening. Went back next day and they were all gone….one of my biggest missed opportunities.

I have been going to wallgreens cuz they have tins with mimikyu snorlax and darkrai on them and they contain a pack of Evo Skies you should see if there are any at your local wallgreens if you want more single packs that come from tins!

I honestly am at the point to just admit that the Moonbreon is simply a top 5 Pokemon card of all time. I don’t even think there’s Gold Stars with this level of clout, hype, love, lore and mythos around them. At this point it’s become like a designer clothing brand, forever expensive simply based on name brand alone

I know you began the video by joking about all the content coverage on Evolving Skies but that honestly helped me. I'm new to the hobby and only started buying/collecting/storing pokemon since January of this year. I had no idea about Evolving Skies but I was able to watch some helpful videos and I bought a Moonbreon PSA 10 and one booster box well under market value back in March. I have two items from Evolving Skies but they sure look pretty on the shelf!

Good move. Similar to me, in summer 2022 when I started collecting I loved the tag teams from sun and moon so I bought a ton of alt art tag teams and then they blew up the following year. I also bought booster boxes of ES as well for $250, and later SWSH booster boxes for sub $100, much like current SV boxes. Pulled the moonbreon after 18 months of steady ripping.

I’ve got 36 sleeved packs, 1 bb, 6 etbs and a handful of the double packs with silver tempest and the celebi pin. I had 2 bb but I traded one not too long ago for 5 silver tempest bb. Gonna hang on to 1 of each bb and get rid of the others when they moon lol

People over pay on Ebay every day for collectibles. I see video games, sports cards, pokemon cards...you name it, sell for over asking price daily. This is not a new trend. Especially when people looking at historical graphs they see the upwards climb and FOMO sets in. This is not a new phenomenon and certainly not unique to ES. ES is however going to go down as the GOAT of SWSH. Coupled with SNV, for the most part being kind of meh (looking at you Twilight Masquerade), people are going back to what will likely go down as one of the greatest eras ever in Pokemon. Almost a perfect storm of sorts. Glad I'm already in a good position on ES....as I took advantage of $90 BB prices in Dec 21 :)

yep, booster boxes are typically seeded, with a few outliers, theres usually one good hit per box

I traded in 2 PS4 slims right at the end of the console shortage of the pandemic to buy evolving skies blisters. I had about 75 packs for trade in. I opened them. That was 2 years ago, I could have already quintupled what I paid for. And shockingly made a deal from a GameStop trade in. But all I have to show for it is a ton of non holo drampas LOL!!!! actually we did get a Umbreon v alt and Sylveon v alt. I call it a win still.

Not everyone sells dead booster boxes. I sell Quite a bit of sealed booster packs on tcg and none come from booster boxes, none are weighed. I don't see how anyone could do that and have good feedback. I have 9000+ sells in 15 months with 100 fb. I've opened 2 BB in my life and I opened them all..

I believe Sealed will continue to go up, however with singles I think they will drop especially if in the next year or two (before 30th anniversary) we have a recession which could happen if the A.I bubble pops and the stock market crashes. that Combined with a housing market crash could be a domino effect to send many Americans struggling to pay rent, buy food etc etc and pokemon cards would be the first thing people liquidate in a time of crisis. if that doesn't happen, well see you guys on the moon!
