Absolutely nothing tops Magic 30's 4 booster packs for $1000. This pokemon set might have launched over-priced, but there was a lot of value and fun in the item, unlike the Wizards nostalgia attempt.

I told myself when they came out if they dropped below $200 id buy one and i did last week from Sams Club. Totally justifiable at that price point. They are huge. Thought USPS was delivering a small christmas tree when it came in the mail.

I got a Japanese one for 260 and don't know what to do with the huge box. But I absolutely LOVE the decks. However, I'm considering grading/selling the dupes

I think it should be priced at $100-$120 like the UPC’s. That would’ve been a fair price point considering u get no packs

Bought it for 194 from best buy they price matched Sam's club. It just got here today. Sleeved all the cards up now ready to teach my wife how to play Edit: cards mat and deck holder are all top tier. I believe overall I like this product. Nostalgic plus you can really feel the quality. But I agree 400 is way too expensive imo.Unless these charizard Mr Mime and others become super expensive .

Reguardless, at 200 that is a steal seeing its msrp is $400. I dont see them making tons more and doing a rerelease. So yeah it is bulky. But look at all the Scarlet and Voilet stuff that has been out 1+ years...its climbing back to msrp. And in 5 years who is to say all scarlet and violet stuff now will be double. I think a $200 investment to make double the $400 to $800...is not horrible.

I snagged two from Sam’s. $421 after taxes and shipping. They MIGHT go on clearance, but I doubt it’ll go much lower than the current $194. I think in 10-12 years there won’t be ANY around and on the next 10 year anniversary I bet they will be worth atleast a decent amount to some investor bro!

sam's club is known to clearance pokemon products. there's a public consensus that no ones buying till they start getting clearanced down even more

There was just something about it that didn't peak my interest, honestly. Even if it was cheaper, idk if i would still pick it up. Maybe it's because i love opening packs and collecting unique sealed product, this just wasn't it for me. Oh, well. Thank you for the video!

The Charizard alone is worth over $100 I believe the Blastoise is about 40 and the Venusaur is about 25 right there almost pays for the Box itself if you were to open it up and then piecemeal the other cards out of it like so many other streamers do and make a ton of money on it at that point I was right there with you at the start that these things would not keep this price I picked one up for 2:20 shift about 6 months ago with a coupon from Tik Tok, I thought it was a pretty decent deal just because I wanted one in my collection and it was half price from retail. I remember all the people talking s*** to you about it and like you said now they can eat crow, hopefully those s*** talkers paid full retail and are biting the big one right now
