Little tip. Pull the steak about 5-10 degrees earlier (depending on how hot you cook em) to your desired temp.let it sit for 5 minutes minimum to let steak reabsorb juices and continue cooking. The excess heat from the surface will keep cooking the steak and your mid rare steak will become medium/medium well and so on.

We now have two of this exact item, the Instant Pot Vortex 6 Qt. Air Fryer kzbin.infoUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB . The friend just had a second one delivered a few days ago so we could take it to our lake house. We have even given a couple as gifts. And we use ours regularly. It is a killer for warming up leftovers. It is killer for warming up fries when you bring them home from the fast food place. It is killer for cooking a lot of things. It does its job fast and it does it well. This is simply one of the best items that you will ever spend money on for preparing food. And, its hard to imagine someone making one that's better than the Instant Pot Vortex.

You, generally speaking, should season the steak immediately after cooking - versus before - and let it rest a couple of minutes after cooking without cutting it. That resting time is precious time for the inside to be cooking in its juices and provide some extra flavor.
