Doesn't Theodora only get her base book activated when attacking monsters though?

The text is ambiguous. Reading the text it seems like the attack is always active and the double drop rate is when attacking monsters. I don't have the general, so I can't test. Reading the text I would say that it's only for monsters, but even if the player's claim that it worked in pvp was true she's still not good.

Theodora's skill works only against monsters - that's a fact. Evony confirmed it many times

Theodora: Legendary Empress "Increase ground troops and mounted troops' attack by 30% and increase 10% double items drop rate from monsters when general is leading the army to attack monster. "leading the army to attack monster" makes the 30% only active for boss hunting. For PvP the 30% will not be active because the target is not a monster. Whoever said it was/use it as a PvP assistant general is going to make a big mistake.

I agree with you. The writing would suggest that the whole thing is geared toward monsters only. I don't have the general, so I can't really test whether there is any validity to the player's claim. Evony text is really unclear on the functionality of their mechanics which is super annoying. Even if Theodora did work in pvp, she's just not good enough to justify her being an assistant.

Bro...read the special skill gold book. That attack power is just for boss hunting. It will not apply in a PvP situation. Talk with the top players on your server. Don't make a mistake using her in pvp...it will be a total defeat on your end.

You seem to find this funny, but he hasn't been awakened yet. Ascension is a pretty big deal. Eventually, he will be able to ascend and I'm certain will be back in the top 5. Right now, he's not. Definitely one of the top assistant generals for cavalry, though, since ascension is irrelevant there.

Mwahaha. I just commented on this 4 hours ago, and then just now Hannibal is now officially ascended. Thus, he now walks again in the higher rankings.

@@The_Miser I still placed him near the top without the awakening. Only one that’s easier to get right now is Roland. All the other top cav gens are for big time coining. It’s good to see Evony isn’t a complete and total trash company, considering they are allowing some free generals to be further grown. Would be super shady if they only allowed coin generals
