*This is an incredible top video and all information are correct in everything! Defense, skill books, troop stratification and sub-cities, it's absolutely perfect! From the basic principle I have exactly these settings, my courses in defense are civilizations- and the new parthian equipment and red star generals in 11 sub-cities. That's the only small difference but that will come to players the time. Oh layering, I use much more Troops T1 and Layering troops, but my opponents have at least 15-25 Billion power in Battlefields so I need it, to hide my ass.. As far as wall general is concerned you dont need a general who gives mounted as % as not useful for t1s instead use generals who are siege and ranged focused, all you need is gear with mouted flat refines for t1 trap to work

Please watch layering part of video to undestand better. Seige and range are useless as most of time only k40 or higher buff player would be able to hit our keep and they will take out all siege and range with their lower tier siege march. So even if its approx to none focus on only one thing to add as much as possible to mounted.

Wonderful video,good against K40, but you need more work on defense when your opponent K42+ and buff 3000%+ March size 6.5M+

This is good information on how to build a t1 trap, but in battlefields people mostly rally rather than solo hit, so it would be very helpful if you could make a video on how to build layers on top of a t1 trap to withstand or defeat rallies, with or without reinforcements.

You can withstand the rally but you have to heal the layers or your ass is toasted

Layers will get destroyed during a rally. Unless you have very big players. And at that point your not a trap. Traps are made to take solo hits. Only bigger players can take a rally (and come out far ahead). I’ve taken rallies with my trap but it isn’t something someone should strive for.

Thanks, but if you have high in city ground buffs, and leave your higher tier ground troops in, they’ll slaughter the ranged troops as well and protect more Cavs

Hi, please can you help me with this.. I am building the troops as per your spreadsheet However I already had 10M t1 ground, 3.5M t1 Ranged (and through a total mistake 8M t3 cav) Should i dismiss all those troops to be able to make the same amount as your spreadsheet? Bro thankyou for make quite easy to understand. Q1: i have T14 1.7m cavl, 1.3 archers, 1.2m ground, 650k Siege so what u suggest that i expell all these high level troops? Q2: if i do so to expell all of them then how will i attack to other keeps those haven't t1 troops? Please explain. Thankyou

Bro make march preset with layers as you use while attacking other players for all troops -Cavs, range , ground ,siege And Ghost them. Through this way you can use them instantly in right order whenever you want. Soon i would be uploading 2nd part of this defense video and there i will show how i ghost all of my attack marches.

Both are totally different category general, can't be compared with each other but i don't recommend richard the lionheart, his total stat might look more but that's not how the PVP going on, especially for non coiners.

This might be kind of a dumb question, but why is there no Save button? I want to be able to find the video again later to refer back to and I usually do that by adding them to an Evony list, but here there's only a Share button? 😕

Not sure friend, on desktop version i think you need to click those 3 dots(...) to see Save Option and in Mobile version i think its there in the end.

I don't understand the reason of using speed books for the wall general.

Range and Siege hit enemy from far away hence game is delivering range bonus skill book to give them advantage, Similarly Ground and Cavs are closed range troop means they have to "Close in" on enemy in order to hit or kill them hence game is delivering speed book for them so that they can reach enemy faster or in less no of rounds to hit them. In the end they are balancing the game by delivering both range bonus and speed book but things gets different when someone do not put it but your opponent using it.

@@btechbbagamer In theory you are correct, but there's a lot of debate about this. Some people claim after extensive testing (Derrick Defies for example) say the speed books don't do anything at all. Their conclusion seems to be Evony didn't (or forgot to) actually work the speed % into the battle formula.

Well... Great video but can I use a different wall general like Jadwiga because she has three better attributes ( seige+mounted+ground ) if fully ascended. The only thing is she doesn't have 30% less defense and 116% less HP which I think can be achieved through putting good ser of gears otherwise I think she is almost as good as Queen Boudica or maybe better. 😅
