loving the videos, and a great tool. A mix of Ares and Acha is best for all generals. In the case of Archer, you want Acha Legs, boots and ring.

Not sure of the most appropriate spot to comment on the following subject but, if either Dragon Gear or Achaeminadae Gear is applied to General Ban Chao while he is acting solely as the Archer Tower Duty Officer will it apply the gear buffs to the relevant troops when an enemy player attack??

Nope. Duty officers do not count as in the battle. The gear on sub city generals does work though.

Were there a lot of updates made to the game after that spreadsheet was made? I love the idea of the sheet. But things don't match up with the game. For example, King's Bow on the sheet has 30%, the game shows 20%.

Hey. This is awesome for someone starting out. You don’t happen to have a spreadsheet for how many troops it takes to kill monsters etc? I know it all depends on the power of the general, but even a rough guide lol

I don't have something like that. Unfortunately, it's not as straightforward as number of troops because the %s of your troop buffs have a very large impact.

This tool is awesome. Been trying to add everything up, but this does it for you. For my pvp ranged general I am going with a 2 piece ares and 4 piece archaemenidae for a stronger ranged troop attack buff. Im still building but do you have any suggestions for what is best buffs to look for on wall general, or what gear you would recommend. My wall general is joseph Johnston with the wonder level 2 dragon equipped on him

That's basically a carbon copy of my wall setup. I'm using 4 pc aech and 2 pc ares. The two ares are helm and legs. I chose this because the courageous ares leg and helm offer such amazing troop buffs that I felt it was worth sacrificing -15 attack set bonus. My skill books are ranged range, siege range, siege attack (though I've considered changing this to ground hp).

@@bblzryfusion Yes. I keep the ares helm and legs. The buffs are too strong to sacrifice for -15 attack.

You can use it anywhere you can use a Google doc. You'll have to make your own copy first to edit it.

Hi man. You do great introduction video. Iv only been playing the game for 3 months. How do I get to swop generals in the game with other people? With me only being a beginner know one wants to know me. They just smash me because I’m low TCP.

Generals are not tradeable and they can't be taken from you. They are permanent to your account until you choose to dismiss them.

Awesome Shaima. Ty! For the spreadsheet what you need to do is make yourself a private copy to have it editable. Usually there is a menu with an option called "make a copy" or something like that.

Interesting…but even though lower level armors like Generals and Kings isnt a “long-term” solution doesnt mean that we shouldnt be knowlegeable about the armor so that we dont waste resources early in the game on the wrong armor. In case you’ve forgotten, the road from 1st level to Dragon armor is a very long road and we need good gear during that time.

This is true, but there's not a lot of customization at that stage. This is more intended for planning your "final" general setups since there are quite a few options to choose from.

I've been thinking about it, and I can probably add in King's armor. Two extra pieces isn't going to be too cluttered. I'll stop there so the drop down doesn't get cumbersome but it should give ore options to growing kingdoms. Thank you for the feedback!

@@The_Miser have you had a chance to look at adding the Kings Armor? I have just downloaded the excel sheet & dont see it. Also Does it matter what General there is highlighted? as i dont see the option for changing the General & would of thought it might have made a dfferance

King's armor should be included now. Let me know if you spot any kinks! The general picture is just decoration, so don't worry about that. This tool is purely for the equipment.

Hello Great video thank you, I had tried to do something similar for comparison myself but this is much better!! Playing around with it, I don’t seem to have then enemy debuffs show up for the Courageous Achaemenidae Armor when I put this in place? I closed it and reopened it in case it was something I had done but it still didn’t show then. Excellent work though, thank you :)
