On monarch exp. a little is overnight gathering at rss spots 13+. Good for smaller players as it gives 10k exp

Archers, siege, and ground are better for pvp. Cavalry is better for bosses and monsters. The troop setup you train depends on your strengths. If you are working on a strong ground general, train more ground. However, you want at least some of every single troop and every single tier of every troop. Just focus on training more of the ones you are strongest with.

Use speedups to finish buildings faster. Gems are better used for other things. To get the speedups necessary, make sure you are constantly running bosses with your alliance.

If you were signed up for Constantinople, you would click the glowing buildings at the time of the battle and select to enter battle.

A better place would actually being patrol on the wall. It takes 15-20 refreshes and then you'll get lvl 3 monarch gear quite often for dirt cheap!

You can use advanced city teleporters or city teleporters to move the location of your city on the world map.

Question (if you have not addressed this already). how can you protect your fields/mines outside the city from plunder raids? i cannot seem to get an archery tower general assigned to the task. apologies if this is a stupid question

You can not. Usually, servers have a no tile-hitting policy, but this varies server by server. The only resource tile completely safe from plundering is the alliance resource tile. The archer tower is used when you are attacked. It has no function outside of battles.

@@unclerawn4017 Click on your keep and look for "Truce Agreement". These are the bubbles that protect you. I'd recommend choosing a specific time of day and preferably using a 3 day truce agreement even though it costs gems. Set timers so you never miss it.

I use Joseph Johnson mostly, but there are many, many good options. Just depends on your troop composition and buffs. If I was limited on generals and starting out, I would probably grab Trajan from the tavern and set up for ground. Ground is pretty easy to buff up effectively in comparison to other troops.

@@ManuZ1208 Buying extra gens is actually great. You can buy them and then disband to get runestone chests, which are really hard to come by. Gold is super easy to accumulate with Vikings.

Most of my hammers come from bosses. If you are constantly running bosses, you'll never run out of hammers. Check the FAQ videos for one that talks about obtaining stamina.

Depends on my focus. These days, it's on getting those last pesky refines and upgrading my wall generals specialty.

Send as much as you can in your march. For example, if your march size is 900k, send 900k of the highest full tier you can manage.

Weird, I thought I replied to this. I do 6x a day normal (non-tribute). I save the tributes for a once-in-a-while boost. You'll get more bang for the buck that way.

Hi there my keeper just came up to lvl35 and my academy is lvl34 and all my reachers are up to lvl34 and still my pvp March is very small can you please explain to me please

The pvp march size can be increased from march size research in the academy, by increasing the level of your rally spot, skill book on the general, monarch horn, and duty officer on the rally spot. Hopefully that helps!

I get this comment a lot, but it's not exactly like my VIP status is hidden in the video. You can also see the "first purchase" button at the bottom left. That being said, the point is less about spending little or no money and more about being efficient with what you do spend. For me, I'm not a spender, but I do invest a lot more time than other players.
