Bro I just found your videos and I am loving them. If I may give my in put on the layers and targeting. I do think highest threats are targeted first as long as they are in range. Then target next highest threat after first threat is defeated. So being the highest threat T15, T14, T13, etc. the key is when in range. But I think it has a turn and round base play. Meaning turn 1, each tier has a round to attack the highest threat that is in range. Sorry if I don’t make much sense when typing

Thank you for this videos !! Now i understand more how a t1 trap works. all those +150M t1 mounted just tank the hits and give siege more time to kill the archers. can you make a video about the optimal way to zero a t1 trap ?

Dont need a video…a t1 “trap keep” has very little upper tier troops to minimize power lost on their end, while the t1 troops eat yours alive. Assuming that particular build is what you’re talking about-the simplest and cheapest way to defeat one is to ignore them! 🤣😂

How do the battle mechanics apply to barbarians event?... ive just been sending archers and seige (Elektra and Kaguya).. with T11 and lower layers, main attack T12 and support T13..... im K33

To my knowledge they are identical battle mechanics but there’s one big difference-they have no general, no debuffs, and no sub cities. So they’re way easier.

We have found the most effective march for barbarians to minimise wounded is layers of 1000 then fill the march with your highest tier of the required troops going to the next tier down if needed. It gets less wounded than using our usual PvP preset march

T1-4 should not build siege. Period. Rest, yes, MINIMUM 2:1 ratio. I am more like 4:1

On the 1 layer vs 5 layers, are you sure the D team all layers would attack at the same time when D gets the turn? I thought each layer would engage once per layer. So 1st turn A to D1, D1 to A. 2nd turn, A to D2, D2 to A. 3rd turn, A to D3, D3 to A. And so on. You see, in this case A would still suffer a lot because there's no layer. Same A layer get attacked by five D layers. I think that would be the mechanic for layers.

I am not sure your explanation is on point here. The argument of one against 5 hits does not consider that the one hit could be five times stronger without splitting it up in layers. Imho the advantage of layers comes from a very strong attack that could kill 1M troops hitting a very small layer of 1k basically wasting that one hit. Any thoughts on that? This can have huge implications on how to layer your keep or fighting march against march.

Yeah, sorry, dont agree with this. If its 5 times stronger it can still only target one layer at a turn, and in order to get one hit on each enemy layer will still have to take unreturned hits. This is a logic exercise.

@@JWevony exactly thats my point - but in your video it seems the advantage of layers is more like layers allow more hits on one target (or I missunderstood). I don't think it would make a difference if the power of five layers would be put in a single hit in that scenario. The advantage is indeed that you need at least 5 attacks even if you could destroy all troops with a single attack theoretically. And the art is to put the most effective troop in a layer that is not hit first.
