I think they already had prime generals in mind. Napoleon is just the first. Evony showed the shoot the barrel ads over a year before introducing the actual game. But you're right about them not being creative enough to introduce really new generals. They should have introduced just the crown that we can slap on any general and upgrade _all_ their stats by 10%.

Your spreadsheets are the best out there, your analysis is the best! Very observant to see that crown for the primes. I suppose we'll be seeing a lot of those going forward. I don't mind that so much- except that then you just have to spend a lot of money to keep up, and that's not really feasible for most people.

Pretty sure evony doesn't care what we think, at least it seems that way. They know the whales will buy him and the rest of us will live with the scraps they eventually make available.

To be honest, we are now seeing old darlings come up in Knight event, so more easily accessible. Working on these asmain generals and saving summoning scrolls for new Prime level assistants is a very viable way to progress in my eyes. Sure, you wont be having the bleeding edge main fully ascended generals with those higher stats. But is that stopping you to play smart? I am happy I got Prime Washington from a normal summoning scroll. He is now assistant :)

Looks like we're gonna have a "Prime" version of probably most generals now. Like the ascension thing, used to be for limited number of generals, now almost every general can be ascended.

I think it's just a dumb way to reuse generals. No skills appear to be associated with be a "Prime." Maybe there's a Transformers promotion soon?

I think they realised *Washington* was such a major figure, like *Napoleon* , they'd done him a massive disservice game-wise by making him so useless (at least nowadays) so felt he deserved the _Prime_ upgrade version treatment. Obviously thay're not suddenly going to give everyone with the old *Washington* a great new set of stats (for free) so as long as they don't overuse the feature and concentrate purely on powerful historically important generals who presently are very weak (especially since they won't have access to some of the potential 'features', like Covenants for a start, or certain types of bonuses on Ascension or Speciality that have become more important over the years) Idon't mind. Sure if they start doing it to all of them it becomes annoying and pointless but I can forgive a few... I think the only thing you didn't cover fully (I may have missed it amongst the good info though) is the Covenant details... 1) it's not a great Covenant compared to some and 2) the Generals the Covenant needs are going to take quite a bit of work for most people since they're unlikely to be in your 'stable' already.

Washington Prime tag comes because of incoming Independance Day celebration... Washington is, as i recall, one of Founders and should be celebrated as important part of US history.. so it is logical move to tag him with crown

Yes he is, but there are lots of other founding fathers they could have chosen instead. Redoing Washington just seems lazy to me

Washington looks more so for defensive plays since his attacks goes both ways. But in my opinion his a great dual general compared to to napoleon

Other gen like Napoleon, Poligeneus, Hestia they are a bit better, Washington prime can be use as wall but I doubt he can do good on that role

André Massena isn't compatible with Washington...as expected. People keep giving importance to Mounted Defense, wich is ridiculous. And one thing that's being overlooked is that Washington buffs (except one specialty) are basic, wich means that he can be used as wall assistant or to reinforce keeps or buildings and not lose those buffs (because is Leading The Army but Not Leading the Army to Attack)

Since most of Washingtons damage comes from his march size I wouldn't recommend using him as an assistant for the wall, and when reinforcing buildings like in battlefield generals with the marching clause also have buffs active, so he doesn't have any special advantage over others.

Andre is a very good assistant general, so I would use him as an assistant. For your main general Roland is the best general you can get from the tavern or relics, or you could get a mounted general from the trial of knights event. If I remember correctly you could get poligenus or laudon from the trial of knights, and both of those are better than Roland.

The best free wall general is Richard the lionheart, but you need to have 3 or 4 red stars for him to be effective. I would recommend checking out my video on defense generals to have a look at the others

This is just my estimate, I might be far off, but It's 16 copies to max him, let's say you get an average of 2 general summons per 100$, you'll probably get him every 4-5 summons, so that's 64-80 summons, or $3200-$4000. I've never done it myself, hopefully someone who has fully maxed premium generals before can give a more accurate estimate

Reusing a general is pretty much the least problematic thing Evony does IMO.

MS has to go on Washington, the rest can go on either

I remember the problem now. Nap can take mounted attack but will not pair with Massena with that, and Massena cannot take mounted attack. George Prime can take mounted attack.

OG Washington is cheap and we use him for a cheap senate five star so please don't promote your idea of removing OG Washington. Lots of people have him in the game.

I didn't say remove, I said rework. Reworking is when they take an existing general and update their skill, covenant, and other traits to bring them up to par with the meta generals.
