Thanks for that Singh. When I started playing this game, I was told; you either invest time or money. I wasn't in the position where I could spend money on the game but I was enjoying it so I bought a few $5 packs weekly but then the greed of Evony started to show and I haven't bought a single thing in 6 months. The game has become more of a social media platform where I log in to talk to friends now

I can't do it anymore. There are better games out there that are way cheaper and give all players a level field. I have been playing an indie game in beta called Zalenia and once you get into it, its just far better and i dont spend any money. I'm sure there are others as well.

I agree 100%. Many players are being left behind and are feeling less and less relevant within the game due to the huge margin that Evony has created. And yes they absolutely need civ gear by grinding. The grind is my favorite part of the game. It makes you truly feel like you have accomplished something. Thank you for your content.

Bro everything you said was spot on, it is unbelievable how greedy this game become after December. It more about who can spend more, not about skill or grinding and learning the game. Just spend and you will have the instant feel good about your purchase for a few minutes then you will realize you need to spend more to feel this same way again. There are much cheaper hobbies and games to make you feel this way. That is my 2 cents.

Now with barbarian castles you can't even hardly find any monsters to hunt. And while the castles are ok for me for smaller players the barbarian castles are worthless. And people throw away all their march speedups on the castles too. Anyway yeah the game is going to die if they don't change

The drop rate grind you speak of I miss. A remember a year ago we had to grind for achaemidae scrolls to build up generals. Now my alliance we kill all the way to b17 and laugh at the joke rewards. There's no grind anymore even for a coiner.

The drop in evony spending is on a permanent trend right now...reason? Game is totally unbalanced...short list of improvements - civilisation gear fragments as drops start boss 14, and i mean generic ones , when you have 30 go into wonder and pick any civilisation gear you want - rss tiles minimum 50 mil , even if its max tile during gathering event - real rewards for reaching lev 3 in personal score in daily monarch competition, like at least around 7k gems maybe even 10k - place 1 in daily monarch competition to include 5 generic civilisation gear fragments and 10 ares blood - increase monsters drop rewards, right now they are close to waste of time overall , people have a life outside evony , dont wanna spend all day hunting monsters non stop or waking up at night to resend marches to gather - create some real trading of stuff between players all these have the purpose of balancing the game and keep players - at max value general pack give 3 choices of specific generals to choose from or pick random option Legionaru 552

Well, you say that right, but lately Evony is not even able to fix malfunctions! I get zeroed quite often due to color issues for IOS players and the only thing CS can say is „Liege, we‘re sorry for the inconvenience, our technical support is working on it“! And that since months! But good for the game developers bringing up new options to spend money on it. Sorry, frustration is quite high meanwhile. I honestly left the game a while ago only because i couldn't get the new equipments and there's a lot of those equipments you can't except someone who spent money at the start to build an enjoyable environment in an alliance with leading rallies 3 years ago to pay like 20 thousands more for new equipments and if you don't do that you are trash imagine losing all the boc's for 3 months all of them because of buff's getting merge with other server and become an absolute trash in middle of them just realized the game isn't for me lol i just wanna watch singh playing 😂 please don't leave us again we will really miss you

In addition. I’ve almost completely stopped spending. Not cuz I wanted too. I love playing the game and I wouldn’t mind spending if 1. It was functional. Too many connect issues and other bs. 2. They weren’t so fkn greedy like you point out in a lot of your stuff and in doing so they have made my spend irrelevant. So what is the point. And Evony misreads this info. They saw the spend dropped in the previous evens and so they found ways to steal more from us. They disguised a cake in the new wheel. They ascended generals that I’ve never had to begin with cuz they refuse to give some of us anything. Ima switch to Electra and Hannibal. Trajan. Etc. And as you said they have made the gap so big that players like me (who have moderately spent) unable to compete. Before it felt like i had a chance but since k40 it’s nonsense. And what the fail To see is the spenders in my range are what can drive the game. And I may have been a bigger coiner had they just made the game work. Not feel so scammy on every thing they do and provide us with some actual balanced drops on things. It’s unfortunate cuz I love the game and there is many easy fixes that not only would boost the player health but also the revenues would boost.

Fundamentally a bad business plan thinking players will coin just making everything about coining. If there are not many players to play with or to burn, why will people even think of Coining? Totally agree on March speeds, which is bottleneck in PvP and Teleports for early gamers with the addition of Barbarian Castles, they are exhausted every single time.

Previous tyche's wheel of fortune was 500 spin max and we can get one civilization gear while spending $5/10 easily but now it's 800 spin . Can't get any gear stuck at 26/27 pieces and event is for only 10 days so it's has become boring day by day for non Coiner player. I'm just waiting for the day that if someone zero me I'll quit..

The cost of coining in this game is surprisingly bad. It's more of an extortion if anything. Every two weeks, they'd come up with new 'events' which pretty much tells you to either spend $2,000 AUD+ or just drop it. S1043, we currently have the King's Party, Tychee Wheel, Starlab Coin Wheel and those three alone would easily ask for $4,000 AUD roughly. On another game, that $4,000 probably would've worth much more. It's plain stupid. I wish they'd improve the game's QOL and content rather than focusing on new stuffs that requires coining.

Singh, I always like your battlefield. However, please don't tell people not to coin anymore. It's just unreasonable for a player who coined $40k (VIP18+) to discourage others from coining. Franking speaking, Evony is not a game. It's a COINING COMPETITION. You know, in a competition, your net strength is how many you coin minus how many others coin. Not only will players wish to coin as many as possible, but they also hope to discourage other people from coining. That's why people who spend tens of thousand bucks in this game tell others not to coin.

Coining in Evony is a prisoners dilemma. Every top coiners hope themselves will coin more and other players will stop coining. Unless people can cooperate to not coin, which is not possible, everyone will coin as many as they can.

Hey Nostalgib - thank you for the feedback, and tbh I've always been a big fan of you + your game knowledge as well. But you're misunderstanding my point. I humbly admit, I was definitely a coiner. The reason I'm putting this msg out is because of the direction evony is going with their packs (p2w) and lack of updates for grinders (f2p). The gap has been growing aggressively with every update. Even though I was VIP 18, most of my advantage came from hard grinding the game. The reward for grinding is diminishing in comparison to paying, which is why I'm making this video. Evony should be punished for not correcting this imbalance imo. Regarding the prisoners dilemma, I don't think so honestly. Most top coiners don't want to play with demoralized players. I'm friends with most of them. They have teammates. They want them to enjoy the game too.

F2P here...2 yrs now on Evony RTK, joined because...of the damn puzzles, they looked so interesting to pass the time. Tried once to buy a $100 pack, my phone couldn't allow me...because of different Gmail accounts i use, both professionally and personal, it was pointing to the wrong account to use with a CC, which even i wanted, i couldn't add it. It was my professional account. Thought about how i could change it, and asked also a fellow player if it was worth it. Best Advice i ever received in this game: DON'T EVER TRY TO BUY anything here, it is not worth it at all, and this was coming from a coiner. Moved on to different alliance, and that player was becoming the "enemy", however her advice, i took it to heart and never ever spend a dime on this game. And judging by comments here, and on Reddit, it was the best advice i ever got. Mind you, i do buy games, and have a Steam account, with some purchases, so i am not new to this thing, but here, she was right.
