Thanks for this bro, it was really helpful. Got my kit installed now in a very similar way, I used the blue and white ambient light and left the orange where it is for another project later. I got the 22 piece kit which is great but annoyingly the speaker trims didn't fit my F30 so I had to remove the LED's from the white ring and run them around the speakers manually. Would have been much harder without your vid, so thanks!

Hello, have you had any problems since your installation? because I did it without any problem for 1 year then nothing more overnight. I first blamed the main box then after a direct test on the battery it works. I took the energy from the same place as you after testing with a multimeter I got 6 or 7 volts. I checked the fuses too and need to check the EMF box now. I bought a new kit and plan to take the power to the main box on the hazard lights.

I’ve tried doing the door cards first had no luck using t rap connectors with love being the red and cream wire and earth being brown live on live neutral on earth any help bud? Or do I have to install main module box firet

Could you tell me exactly how you wired you main controller and sub controllers. What wire colors do I need to connect the red to and the black to. I have a 2015 435i f33 convertible. Do I need to disconnect my battery before I tried to connect these? I didn't actually see you do any wiring in the video , you mentioned how you did it but I'm still a little confused. Thanks and great video you are giving my the confidence to try and do this!

What ever colour wire you pick to tap into out of the white with blue strips or white with orange strip has to match on all controllers so red wire from controller to white with blue strip and black wire from controller to brown. I didn’t disconnect my battery, how ever I did go into idrive and turn off ambient lights and I switched my auto lights to off positions.

Looks good, but you haven't really shown connections. How many light strips/ light modules can go onto each controller? Lets say I wanted to run down the centre console. How many units, in total, can I connect to the main controller?

I've had some experience with these and had a lot of trouble getting them to stay, even with double stick tape. I noticed at 23:12 your door strip was falling. I'm wondering what your solution was, because I'm thinking about jumping in again with a fresh kit, and i don't want the same fights I had last time.

I’ve used 3m tape with spacers jamming them in every 10cm, they are secure now

@@MREVREN Which 3m double stick tape would you recommend, I saw there are several. Also, what would you suggest to use as a shim/spacer? I love the looks of these but they are an unbelievable pain at times, depending on the shape you're working with.

Hi dear, i have the same setup, everything was ok unless i downloaded the app and now i am repenting, have you encountred an issue where the big strips are only glowing half, first i thought the strip might be damaged so i connected the other one but the same, do you know where to fiddle in the app??? And do you know how to reset defaults?

How do you stop that tacky RGB test sequence at the beginning. Looks terrible doing that at the beginning every time you start the car, which is a shame as it will never look OEM doing that.
