40mpg is pushing it lol, maybe 30-35 at 55-65mph on level grounds. Where I am in Pennsylvania I get about 21mpg daily driving mine for the past 3 years and that’s a mix of city stop and go, back country hilly roads, and highway driving. But when I drive it 1000+ miles down to Florida it was hard to keep a slow speed to maintain that mpg, still only filled up 3 times though driving down the entire east coast essentially.

Love the F80. Something about the 4dr M3’s that get me, maybe because it’s like a touring car and I’ve been a huge fan of touring car racing for years. But anyway, on more topic.. this is a really well sorted car Misha. Few mods and we can all see how well it goes. So so many people are overlooking proper brakes like AP’s and proper tyres for a good run on track. Start with those and a stage 1 and you’re going to be very quick on most tracks. Great video, great lap, was pretty much perfect. Was really impressed by the car 👌🏼 Owner seemed like a good guy too. One of my favourite uploads 👍🏼

I felt the exact same. Driving an F80 the first time shocked me. It felt so special and analogue/connected. Also felt so balanced and on its toes. The G80 disappointed me. @swb71615 ай бұрын
@@bmf5420 totally agree. the F80 generation was plenty modern, great gear box, power, tight feeling car. Super fast and the way it would light the wheels up made you respect the car. I’m a young guy but hate the tech in the new G series. Less is more, I want a drivers car with 4 seats and a boot. Feels like the new cars are designed by none driver enthusiasts and designers who are ground braking but not connecting with the consumer. It feels like the direction BMW is going is quite strange. The new M5, speechless and confirms the feeling that BMW doesn’t make M cars anymore just fast saloons not worthy of the badge.
