If you put the legs on the other side-You could have put a sheet of wood over the top with hinges and used the inside for storage!

👏👏👏😍😍😍hace años rescaté unos cajones de la basura y la segunda idea era exactamente lo que se me ocurrió en ese momento, pero me faltaba dinero para comprar lo que me hacía falta 😞los guardé mucho tiempo y olvidé el proyecto, luego me mudé y se quedarón ahí, ojalá alguien los haya aprovechado....y de la primer idea,yo hubiera dejado al revés la mesa y la hubiera dejado con esos compartimentos para almacenar,se hubiera aprovechado mejor el espacio y la funcionalidad,no creen?... excelente canal.. gracias!.. felicidades!

Drawers are so much fun, very useful, and free. I went to a thrift shop and got a deep drawer to hold firewood inside my house. It's provides a rustic look.

А я бы ящики наоборот перевернула: донышком вниз, на которое дополнительное дно точно так же, но из тонкой фанеры и на саморезы плюс клей. А столешницу - потолще и на рояльные петли со стороны сидящего. Со стороны стены приделать к столешнице 2 раскрывающихся упора, чтобы наклон фиксировался. Тогда была бы парта с наклонной крышкой (все знают, что эргономически это лучше), под которой было бы место хранения. 😉

Awesome ideas! I was missing a drawer from an old desk I found in the trash so I made a drawer, but when I moved I donated the desk to a children's school. I also had my old dresser from when I was a child and I was unable to take it with me to my new place. No one wanted the dresser and the top was in bad condition but I thought someone could redo it. I had a free sign on it but finally I had to have it hauled away. I kept the drawers which are maple. The dresser was made in 1949. I have the drawers under my bed and I keep craft supplies in them but I sure wish they were in wheels. My new to me place is very tiny and only 3 small closets. I have to be thrifty in ways to store things. I love your table it is beautiful! You are a very talented person and I love all your projects. I need to go to work now. I have been at my job for 18 years and I am the only female. Have a blessed day, Rebekah in VA

Desk was ok. I liked the little bench. But I did not like the long loop handle. Great for tripping. Interesting ideas though. I would have made the padded seat to all the way to the edge.

Not only all the way to the edge, I would have either extended the padded board to the width of the drawer front or better still sawn off the extensions of the drawer front. Yes that loop was unnecessary. The stool was on wheels/rollers, would have moved anyway! But I do appreciate the sharing of ideas. We learn from each other, even to better our own ideas. Thanks so much

When you do tufting, you thread the button with both ends through the needle. Pass it through your fabric and padding from the top, and then you pull it tight on the backside and staple it down once, then pull the threads in the opposite direction passing over the first staple, and staple again.
