Unreal to create an album this good 7 albums deep in to your career

I don't like making a judgement on an album after a couple of listens. Some albums I've liked after one listen, but they've not maintained my interest, some albums I've been ambiguous after a few listens and they've gone on to become my favourites. After 3 weeks of listening to Mountainhead pretty frequently, I'm still hearing new details and my favourite track is changing with every play. That EE can produce such a strong offering 7 albums in blows my mind, it's got all the energy and bollocks of a debut but all the complexity and maturity of a band that knows what they're doing. I don't understand how they're not the biggest band in the country? Nobody else is creating work of this quality in 2024 that I've heard, best band on the planet right now, no doubt about it.

I fell in love with EE with Man Alive. Ever since I've been feasting on every record, anonymously attending gigs, I firmly remained under the spell of the brits discreet singularity. They always reminded me of Phoenix pre-Wolfgang, they shared this pre-world wide explosion modesty, atleast on stage. I have always been a believer that one day EE would escape the realm of indie and go towards playing into stadiums. It seems this record definitely shows they are blooming towards gathering more ears. As the world appears grim way too many times as of late, the sheer beauty of EE's latest record is a god's ray in otherwise dark skies, and I recommend you all to continuously bathe in this most needed warmth. Be loyal, EE makes it worth it

Each release just adds to the massive list of stellar tracks they have, it will be impossible to do a cross-album best track challenge at this point. That said, this by far is my favorite track of the album. But then there’s 5 other songs I like almost as much. You know you’ve struck gold with a band when you can’t pick just one.

EE are incredible and never disapppoint me. The first song I heard from them was "Cough Cough" with my mother in 2013. We both loved them immediately and started listening to their other songs. My mother passed away in 2016, and since then I can't help but think that she too would have loved, as much as I do, each new album from them. ♡ (Please excuse my bad english)
