I'd totally buy a set if they came in a larger size...I can't hardly find anything motocross related in my size... very irritating these companies don't care about larger people... 😡🤬

100% agree they need one size larger, just bought a set today and I don’t have body builder legs but still decent big. L/Xl we’re a struggle. I’m gonna rock them at Ironman then probably sell them : update Ironman these did their job and stayed in place, I didn’t die and my legs and knees are good to go. Not gonna sell them as they are covered in sweat. Unless you’re into that thing. 10/10 would buy again.

Hi just a short question … I am currently deciding between the Slayco and the TP199 … what are the general differences between them? The problem with the slayco is that I would have to order them directly from the US to Austria and I would have to pay bunch of tolls and taxes and all that …is the slayco really worth it because I would get the TP199 cheaper here. Thank you !!

The Slayco has a narrower shin guard compared to the TP199. Slayco knee guard is CE level 2, while the TP199 is CE level 1.

There is not a big enough difference that I would spend the extra money for the Slayco if you can get the TP199 there. The padding is slightly different inside the knee and the shin piece is smaller on the Slayco. Aside from that, they're just about the same - Chase

Are the inner sleeves supposed to be cut out?
@rmatvmc
@rmatvmc Ай бұрын
No, they're meant to stay in. But, you can cut them out if you want to. In fact, I had to cut mine out because they were too tight and they fit much better without them. If you can leave the sleeves in, I would. - Chase

These or pod k8? For enduro riding

That's a really tough question because one is a brace and the other is just a guard and there is a huge price difference. I really don't feel like a knee brace would hinder your riding in any way compared to a knee guard for enduro riding. If you feel that a knee brace would protect you more than a knee guard then I would get a brace. Alpinestars just released some new knee braces. The RK-1 is a really good brace for the money. I haven't been able to ride in it or test the durability, but I have tried in on and it fits and feels like a high-end brace for less than $300. - Chase

I was going to buy these but the reviews how they run small aren’t going to work for me. I like the TP199s and thought these look better just need a larger size.

I ended up cutting out the inner sleeve on mine and it seemed to help open them up a bit to where I can actually use them. But yeah, they need to make a larger size and I'm pretty sure they are. - Chase

Heads up, the S/M have to be only for children. I couldn't even fit my foot in one, and I'm a small rider.

The TP's are comfortable but not to much use, fuq all padding.

Instead of talking about your legs and feet, could you actually show them? I am especially interested in seeing your feet because you often say that the boots you are reviewing are "comfortable", while in my opinion, most of them are made for people who have very narrow (and often flat) feet with short front/toes part of them

get tech 7s bro and break them in by bedding them back forth with your hands

@@jesserichter7560 It's funny, I got two pairs of Tech 7 Enduro DryStar a few days ago: 13 and 14. I normally wear size 12, but Tech 7 size 12 were too small and way too narrow. Size 13 are long (longer than my feet), but the front part of the foot (forefoot, I guess?) is too small - short and narrow as if it was taken from size 10. But size 14 are huge - they are only 10 mm longer than size 13 but are much wider. They look like skis on me. When I buckle them up, I have an inch behind the heel of my foot. The right boots of size 12 would have the front part from tech 7 size 14 but with the back part 1" shorter. But at least they do not squeeze my forefeet and do not have ridiculously small front parts. I will put some filler or insert behind my heels. I don't understand why the manufacturers make boots with weird shapes, each having its own weird shape. I tried everything: Gaerne Fastback (wrong shape with small and narrow forefoot), Leatt (wrong weird shape), Forma Pilot Enduro (way too narrow), Sidi X-3 and X-Power (wide in a wrong - toe box- part but are very narrow in others). Fox and O'Neal are probably the weirdest - they even look very wrong. The only model that more or less fit me was Forma Terra Evo Dry size 13 - they are wide, but mostly in the front of the toe box, and are made of leather so they can stretch. But they are "adventure" boots, and I will use them for adventure rides. But I also wanted Enduro boots for offroad riding, and Tech 7 Enduro looked good on paper and had good reviews. Unfortunately, reviewers pay little or no attention to the shape of the foot, they are concerned mostly about various "technologies" used in the boots they are reviewing
