How I hope they've gathered some good footage from these recent tours and will release it in high quality. Still great to hear this anyway. But just imagine a clean version of this with Liz!!

great video, great political song...I think it was composed by Pete Seeger in 1955...Marlene Dietrich, Joan Baez & Peter, Paul and Mary and now Liz Fraser version!

I've heard the Pete Seeger version. Surely that's the original? It's the perfect song for Liz Fraser to sing (-:

I think that's a sanitised version of the film that was playing at Glasgow the night before - I don't remember the "Frames Removed" message being projected. It isn't a complete recording of that song, and I might have jumbled the running order of the film in my memory, so was there footage of two men, rushing into a morgue to cradle a corpse of a man on a tiled slab (I presumed they were all brothers); or was there footage of a corpse of a young man on his back against the corner of a room, with a dried streak of blood stretching from his mouth?

I've answered my own question, yes, it is a sanitised version. If you jump to a recording of this song from Glasgow, you can see that this is less graphic, with content removed. I asked because while I was watching it in Glasgow, I wondered how this song (and film) would be received when the tour reaches the US. I guess they'll be getting the version you got, which is a shame really - if any audience needed to see that film projected over this song, it's an American one.

I can't remeber all the footage from. glasgow but i remember an immense feeling of doom overshadowed by the dreamy melancholy of the music.

why the frames at the beginning are removed? I remember they were shown in the concert in Madrid
