When I had the 74 i-series computers from the factory, I started taking the boards out of the CD-ROMs, but they were just tiny little 1"x1.5" boards, so I quit taking them apart and sold all 107 lbs of CDs as whole CD-ROM. Knowing they were all identical saved me time!!

Yeah those old computers were famous for having screws holding the drives on both sides. When I repaired them back then if I had to replace a drive or remove it I would only add screws to the front side for easier removal later if I needed to.

Of course, I guess I should be thankful there were only two screws on the other side 🤣

I can't wait to watch those detailed videos on electronic I have a pile of sorted electronic partsstuff that needs to be processed as far as what to say on boards or not to save I've got parts anywhere from old VCRs circuit boards in microwaves blenders display screens televisions and computers😊😢

Definitely like your videos but everyone here if you guys scrap electronics and musical equipment like pianos that I wouldn't I wouldn't even deal with the piano but organs are kind of worth it but watch the pins man any of the pins you take out of electronics as a razor sharp one just went through my foot😅😢
