Damn, the jdcr-ak fiasco is just sad. I like AK as a player and was so happy that he won a tournament. His fanbase just because of that win would surely increase and that's making me happy. My favorite korean players would be Knee, JDCR, Qudans, Rangchu and Jang Iksu(tekken tag 1 legend). I always love to watch them play. So this incident is so disheartening especially since it involves my two favorite players. I don't want to see people hating AK, he's a really nice person and deserves all the cheers. So heartbreaking. I'm just wishing that the incident involved some other player besides AK.

Not entirely true. It's true that JDCR had an advantage because of HP. If you look at the replay you can see, that AK was able to stand up because the combo was already over and you only need 1% life to win + regenerating health since tekken 8. Look at all the other games. Nobody knows what would have happened! Furthermore, it's not AK who decides the rules! Also if you look at the replay: Joe Crush was playing before them and there was already a controller issue. In Combo Breaker (one week earlier) he already had problems with his controller. And if you look at Joe Crush's fight against Farzeen you can see at "1:34:28" that his controller again gets issues. 🤷‍♂🤷‍♂🤷‍♂

The fault was AK's. He's player 2 and the player 2 side disconnected. And it disconnected at the most opportune time for AK, right when he was about to lose. That's a crime. What should have been done was AK starts the match with the amount of health he had when the disconnected occurred. Robbery,

Why did they decide to replay the entire round? JDCR would have won and both having full HP makes no sense. "Replaying as close as we can" would be to give AK 10% remaining health, backed into a wall. Instead AK almost killed JDCR in 30 seconds while having lost almost no health

That was UNSHAKEBALE defence.
