Hmm, ideas for your year of creating... Making an art quilt. Teacher recommendation: Ann Turley. She's a great teacher & lots of fun. Making a book (book binding?). Amigurumi crochet (maybe not Woobles). Looking forward to more of Chris' short mill videos!! Sue

My suggestion would be OOAK (one of a kind) sculptures in polymer clay or some other moldable medium. About ten years ago, I sculpted a mermaid which was very rewarding. Although it wasn't perfect, it turned out surprisingly well for my first sculpture. Another suggestion would be lace knitting.

Embroidery on a knitted piece, such as a head band or sweater, seems to be gaining popularity. The embroidery can be simple and still add a lot. I have seen designs on wash away paper that adhere to the knit and provide a guide for the stitches.

There is one family that were making them, not from China. You have to put a drop of oil in each needle chamber before using. Start at 10 on the power. The needles do break if the felting is already stiff. I will e-mail you a picture of mine, some directions, and a link for you to look at. They work on flat needle felting too. I made some wet felted leaves and used the bee to felt them on your felt squares for fall coasters. 😉

Have you ever used a peg loom? You can make scarfs to rugs. I purchased a loom from the Southern Indiana Fiber and Arts Festival.

Like me you 2 do so many things so it is hard to come up with things. Nalbinding(I plan to learn this one for my channel), Quilling(I was already typing this when Chris said it 😅), Woodcarving/whittling, Tatting 🤔...

This is @Lumpofclay with a new “creative” channel where I tie fishing flies. So, ideas….. rosemaling, whittling, fly tying ('cause some flies are made with wool bodies), cane carving (as in diamond willow or fancy heads on canes)
