This is why Michael Brecker is pretty much my all time favorite sax player. He is just sooo involved and fluid.

Plus the drummer. Aaron Scott is not just following Breckers solo, but he's emulating Breckers frequincy's when Brecker is really peaking.

Of all the many saxophonists who have played with McCoy Tyner since John Coltrane, the best fit, the one who can match McCoy's level of modern harmonic complexity, the one who can match his level of intensity, the one who can match his level of easily identifiable uniqueness, the one who best drives McCoy to higher heights and vice versa, is Michael Brecker.

McCoy was a huge influence when i moved from rock to jazz, realized a piano can have rock intensity without the amps! Tyner solos with Coltrane were usually hot but sometimes maybe he got intimidated? In any case, he fully blossomed in the 90s and was always in beast mode.

Crazy gig! McCoy knocked my socks off. That drum solo was insane! Never heard this cat before. Brecker melts my face as usual haha. Sharpe holds everything down with that fat bass tone.

So, I'm drooling over the music, of course. But I also was interested in seeing the piano with the Hyundai name on it. I knew they made pianos but thought they were all branded Samick.
