Mate as a born n breed Aussie... Here’s some other attractions...and for hands on experience of Aussie animals try Featherdail Wildlife Park, train ride up the mountains (express Mountian Central all the way to see the 3 sisters or explore the Royal National Parks ), travel around (hired car) Mount panorama the home of the Bathurst 1000 (happens every October), tour the local museums, head up Gold Coast Queensland (theme parks central), watch a footy game or two (AFL or NRL...our try blue home grown sports), take in our history (both the good and bad...educate yourself and take home new knowledge), cross the harbour bridge ground level (IN WHICH IS FREE!!), get in touch at your local (pub...there is plenty around, give VB or four X a swig)...try all of our food (as since we’re a mixed races country there is NO ONE TRADITIONAL dish: tim-tams, Lamingtons, ANZAC biscuits, etc.... Visit during a national holiday: ANZAC DAY (honouring our fallen war hero’s kind of like Remembrance Day but for Aussies and Kiwis (New Zealands), Christmas (it’s gonna be a hot one), Australia Day (aka invasion day, where our white ancestors invaded the natives without asking or cooperation with them) There is soo much to do, ask around you never know who you might call a mate by the the time you rack off (go home) Also ask around, as Aussies r friendly n will help you if u need it!! Love fellow Aussie 🥰
My wife and I love Australia. Sydney and the Gold Coast are our favorite places.

I rekken this was a great top 10 things to know when travelling to Sydney. I grew up there and saw the Opera House being built from the ground up. Great place and bazillions of things to see and do with 160-200 kilometre range. Thanks for taking the time and posting - well done

@tacitdionysus32204 жыл бұрын
@@rajneesh0095 Only thing to watch is if you have more than one credit card and use different ones for travel over a period. The system will only apply things like weekly discounts if you use the same card. Some people tap their wallet or card holder with multiple cards, not realising that the reader might detect a different card on different trips. Credit cards will also only charge an Adult fare, so if your kids use a credit card they will get charged a full fare.

I'd definitely recommend at least 3 days in the Blue Mountains (and opal will get you there in around 2hrs) but you need to be fit to see the real amazing bits like National Pass; and you can do the mountains a lot more cheaply than the city

And I strongly suggest catching the ferry there. Sydney harbour is beautiful so plan to spend time on it or near it. I love going over to Manly for the day - lovely ferry ride then wander out to the Corso and Fairy Bower I'd steer clear of Watson's bay - has become an overcrowded tourist hangout, likewise Darling harbour

The train trip from the airport is "expensive" because you have to pay a station access fee to use the airport stations. Public transport in Sydney is reasonably priced, so Sydney to the Blue Mountains won't costs you more than $8:40 one-way. Maximum OPAL spend on the network is a $15 a day cap.

@doubledee96752 жыл бұрын
Yes, snakes and spiders in summer, but as a tourist these will only cause you problems if you go out of the city area. Even in places such as the Blue Mountains, you're very unlikely to have to deal with them at the popular lookouts. Keep your eyes open if you go along the tracks though. You're right about the need for the tough customs rules.

@nickandhelmi4 жыл бұрын
Ohh haha ok Shinta for 2 days only I would say: 1. Tour around City- Circular Quay to see the famous Harbour Bridge, Opera House, Botanical Garden and walk around Mrs. Macquarie Chair. Near Wynyard train station go to Barangaroo, plenty cafes & restaurants to chill. Around Town Hall station area - see QVB Building, The Strand, Westfield (shopping). You can check out Hyde Park & St Mary Cathedral too. Then Darling Harbour, Darling Square, & Chinatown (Paddys Market to buy souvenir). I think 1 full day or more can be done just in City 😆 Oh try watermelon cake at Blackstar pastry just in Kinokuniya bookstore! 2. Beaches - Bondi & Manly are packed but perhaps must see for first timer. March shouldn't be cold yet hehe.. You can take ferry to Manly or Watson Bay from Circular Quay -scenic way to see Harbour Bridge too. There is a long beach walk but I guess hiking not an option lol 3. Cafe & eating- The Grounds of Alexandria is a must visit for plenty of photo opportunities😊 We have some food videos to check haha😆

Bars,lounges and great dining places do still open till late - its mainly the shopping that is not available - usually we just find good places to eat at night hehe - there is some nice bars around opera house too, so you can see the harbour bridge and opera house too

@@nickandhelmi Yeah I believe the cinemas do open till late as well right? I'm not really into fine dining or going out to bar or lounges but i love cafe hopping. It'd be nice if theyre still opened after 5pm.

Last year, I went to Australia for working holiday, but I should come back to Korea(my country) because corona virus was spread on whole world and Australia government implemented to shut-down all restaurants. Sometimes I miss Australia, so I've watched your vidio and I feel the life of Australia indirectly.

Huge thanks for this brilliant and practical video (e.g. you didn't tell me to go the Opera House... Lol). I hope it's okay to ask a fashion question for an April trip. In autumn in the UK, people wear ankle-high black boots. Does anyone wear them in Sydney? Cheers and thanks again for the great information!
@nickandhelmi Жыл бұрын
They do :)!! Wear whatever you want! Id you look cool why not 😆! Lately we been having warmer winter though, def not as cold as UK! Haha yes opera house - everyone will go anyhow 🤣🤣
@Barbara-hh8hv Жыл бұрын
@@nickandhelmi Thanks so much for your reply! I had the impression that no one would ever wear black in Australia. Not sure I could ever look cool, but I will try! Thanks again and all my very best to you both. xx
