Regarding ancient Latin and Greek and modern Greek, Italian and mostly in Spanish, these are to be read and written without almost any cancellation of vowels or consonants as happens in french or english. None of these languages have diphtongues and the vowels are open A E I O U then we also é and è and ē that are 4 different sounds
