usually anyone in the church community who are publicly trying to be churchgoing and "good" usually wind up being the ones who do the worst things. I remember many instances being young.. we all knew the wildest girls were from the church schools, we knew women from bible schools who would pick up the high school football players to party at their house, and lots of other things. I remember one hot woman who would often pick up teenagers to help her in her community garden, would take them to those crazy church revivals where everyone would dance and do silly stuff, and then would turn around because she liked having sex with teenagers which is why she did all that stuff. As teen boys, we were perfectly fine with a crazy hot woman picking us up lol. Not legal of course, but we are guys, we don't worry about a hot woman taking advantage of us, that is awesome!

There’s so much hidden drama going on in church communities. As someone who was raised in one, it’s weird because everything is coated in this “perfect happiness” and no one ever brings shit up. But behind the scenes, there’s some real tea going on. You know like the one girl who stopped showing up on sundays but comes back pregnant or with a baby. One time in my church, this “nice” couple silently split up and the woman just started showing up with a much older dude; the ex was also found to have been a serial cheat throughout their relationship. Or this one time the super religious pastor was caught or confessed to going to strip clubs. It’s wild. And in person, everyone just acts like nothing’s wrong. But in private, they’re all talking.

the church acts like a place of honesty and forgiveness but the community surrounding it is always judgmental and gossipy, this leads to this weird two faced culture in almost every religious circle, kind of defeating the whole point of it tbh.

@@cocothedino_2901 Exactly! That’s the worst part. I heard stories like these from my parents and other women. I’m just there being silent or trying to direct the conversation elsewhere. Can they be kicked from the "church" (apologies if its not a church 🖤) because of the bombshells being dropped? Mormon here. Drinking alcohol is against the rules, no matter where you are, lol. We're definitely not supposed to screw or kiss people besides our own spouses, even if there's consent all around. And there's also the clothing/modesty standards that clearly went out the window. This whole situation is super weird to me. Like... none of us are perfect, but are these people even trying to be Mormons? Which part of the religion do they believe in?? Do they get drunk and hook up with each other before or after their nightly scripture study?? I will say that the concept of Mormon moms pretending everything in their life is 100% pristine and perfect is pretty standard, especially for Utah/Idaho. Everyone wants to show off how righteous they are, how clean their house is, how much their husband loves them, how smart and sweet their kids are... it's exhausting.

It gets really wack the further you look into it. Eventually I realized I had to choose between living an authentic life or continuing to push my doubts and write off the truth I discovered in order to preserve my sense of self. It's been a rough journey uprooting all the little seeds they planted in my head but I'm doing so much better now and it was so worth it.

@@TeddyLovesAxl I can’t speak for the commenter. But ex-Mormon here. Yes the toxicity/manipulation of the Mormon community contributed to me leaving, but it’s much more than that. WHAT made me leave is learning about the bite model and realizing how high the Mormon church falls on it (and you’d need to look this up to follow what I’m about to use as an example). For the behavior part of it, the Mormon church does check 1-5, 7-13, sort of 17 because corporal punishment was encouraged by my bishop to my parents when I was questioning things, 18, 23 and 24(there are stories of pregnant teenagers in the Mormon church being sent to camps to give birth, sometimes against their will). For information control they check 1-6, some of the subcategories aren’t checked but very few. And even then it’s depending on the individuals local church. So they check EVERYTHING for information control. Thought control, they check every box. No questions asked. Anybody who says otherwise is so indoctrinated they can’t even realize it. Emotional control, they check everything as well, minus 1 subcategory. Which is “threats of harm to ex-member and family”. But I feel like that’s dependent on a persons family. Of course the bite model is more than just falling into the boxes and saying “yes this happens”, there’s a rating system as well. But despite that, even when I went through the rating system for it, Mormonism was still pretty high. Basically what I’m saying is that, I broke free from the Mormon indoctrination and their cult mentality. When my eyes were open I saw how corrupt the Mormon church is. How evil they truly are. Anybody who says otherwise is an idiot. And when they tell me otherwise I remind them of the general conference (huge thing in the Mormon community. Like the youth are given homework for it and everything) where a church leader testified that he resurrected a gnat…. Yes a gnat. Only a cult would do that. Edit. Also adding in 14, 21, and 25 under behavior control. Because there’s some dark history in the church with gay people, and some assassinations during Brigham young’s era.

I was looking for a KZbin channel like yours to play some secret recordings of my ex abusing my kids. I have 3 recordings and they had been getting abused for over 11 years. The man molested my daughter when she was 8 but the DA said it wouldn't stand up in court because it was his word again hers. He got good lawyers and has been lying to the courts for years. The recordings are shocking. My lawyer said in all her years she has never heard anything that bad. Most people can't make it through the whole thing. This is my first time ever having a lawyer. It's been very expensive. The courts have been on his side and believing him for years. He has only left marks a couple times. The sheriff always says he has to leave a mark. But when he leaves marks in the past they say he has a right to discipline his child how ever he sees fit. A couple weeks ago my I pick my sons up from their fathers and they were both crying and begging to not have to go back. I asked what happened. My son said his father got mad and chased him with a shovel trying to hit him. When he couldn't catch up he threw the shovel at him missing him by inches. I did get a restraining order from a judge that hates me. He must have heard the recordings because he took off the supervised visits. The father also hit my son so hard across the face he had ringing in his ear for 5 minutes. I have had to pay over $8000 in lawyers fees. I did start a go fund me because I only make 27,000 a year a everything is skyrocketing right now. Please message me if you might be interested in doing a video on this

Request a different judge. I don't know how long ago it was that they said he "has the right to discipline his child how ever he sees fit" but that doesn't stand anymore. Neither does "his word against hers" with children, especially if you do have proof. You can still take it to civil court if the police or DA won't help you. Unfortunately, it would probably get anyone else into legal trouble and Boze just wouldn't play videos of straight up child abuse. There are other ways of getting the word out there on your own for your gofundme on other forms of social media. Twitter or Reddit would probably be the best places to go for this, since it's easier to reach people on these platforms. Find and reach out to organizations for domestic abuse, abused children, and child trauma.

Most social kiddo I know.) Just because I had a kid, doesn’t mean I’m going to like other women who did too. Mom groups of all kinds are breeding grounds for drama. @@omowhanre you are objectively incorrect. I probably triggered a response of that nature because you love your MLM. Perhaps it might be a person in your life making you feel the need to defend? I bet you have a hard time watching other moms who have boundaries in place to prevent toxic people like you from poisoning their motherhood experience. No parent needs the immense pressure of high school bullies comparing other moms based upon how many kids they have. Now this is where the ignorance truly begins. The very issue that I’ve expressed my opinion on, was attempted to be rebutted by the exact actions I’m against, that you have taken. You played your role perfectly, showing the perfect example of why I don’t participate in “mom culture.” Moms like you are the reason I feel this way. Stop projecting and really take stock of your feelings. Are you having them because you feel called out? Do you participate in the toxicity that ruins play dates? Maybe it circles back to your feelings about MLMs? Do some heavy introspection and come back in a month to see if my comment is really that awful, really that triggering. Realize that healthy decisions and behavior will feel uncomfortable if you don’t recognize them as such. You also can’t control the way anyone else thinks or feels. You can only control yourself. With that said, I truly hope you can find peace through therapy. It’s ok to not understand how to properly express yourself if you have never had the tools to do so. You will be a much happier person if you don’t depend on other people to feel fulfilled as a mother. Remember to do things for you because that could be the very thing you’re missing now that you have children. We all had a life before kids and reconnecting with your former self will remind you of how you once dealt with other women. maybe you won’t be so judgmental about the opinions and choices of other moms. I’m coming from a place of being the healthiest mom I can be for my child. If that means I don’t seek out mom groups, that’s okay. Every human has different needs and boundaries. If you learn to respect that and not take it as an affront to the way you chose to parent, you will naturally find good people that respect you. Accept the differences and learn to understand that every mom is valid. In fact, YOU are valid. We don’t all have to experience parenthood the same way. I wish you personal growth and happiness. You’ll feel much better once you realize that you don’t need other moms to be a healthy, good mom yourself. I hope you can look beyond your initial reaction and see that what you said only further alienates moms from groups. It creates the very culture that fuels the drama, that cuts down other moms. We are all valid as mothers. Do you, but let everyone else make their choices too. Our differences are what makes life so beautiful. You can’t hate on that! Good luck!

@@plutigvid If you think that pretending that your life is perfect is singular to these idiots...or even only religious people....then you need to open your eyes and look at the world. It happens everywhere. I'm so tired of people judging Latter Day Saints by the bad apples in Utah. There are good LDS people who follow the standards of their church- but they aren't on TikTok and aren't peddling cheating and swinging. Every time you turn around, any given group of people - religious or otherwise, are judged by the questionable or abominable actions of a few. When you get out of Utah, into the rest of the world, that is NOT the majority of Mormon life. I'm a convert of 50 years, have traveled to and lived in many states and out of the country. NEVER have the LDS communities been anything like this! It must be a Utah thing. And, since Utah is an incubator for MLM businesses ( partially rooted in the concept of being responsible for the welfare of your family), I can see how some can be sucked into it... I just fail to see the lack of sense exhibited when they jump off the figurative cliff. For the record, this doesn't just happen in LDS areas. I live in a majority Baptist area... same type of thing but not necessarily with MLM being part of it. In my opinion, it boils down to commitment. Commitment to God, your spouse, your religion, marriage, family, honesty, ethics....beliefs. Whatever you believe in and hold dear....if you can be swayed to engage in behavior that is contrary to that belief, then you aren't committed to it. This isn't a religious thing- it's a people thing. And if you think these people are the only ones pretending that there life is perfect then I know a desert property in the bayou that you might be interested in.

The one who was dancing when their baby was in in the ICU.. I could not. My baby was in the NICU after she was born and the last thing looking around that place was, was joy. Until she could go home. But I saw many babies in awful condition who were in incubators and the parents were crying by their side. I’ll never forget that hell.

This gives me a flashback to my childhood. Both my parent really drilled "There are no such things as friends. They are either family or people you happen to know." They also would say things like "Be careful about what you say and who you say it too. Bc those you called 'friends' can easily turn on you." As a kid I thought my parents were just very negative, but as an adult now, i kinda see their point.

Drinking is not accepted anywhere in the religion. If its happening, its socially supported, not institutionally supported. Just wanna throw that out there. Some Mormons may drink, but if they told their bishop about it, they would lose their "temple recommend" which would prohibit them from participating in temple work.

Mormonism is pretty wild. I’ve never met a well adjusted, “normal” person, who was a practicing Mormon. There’s some in fighting between the Mormon community about if polygamy is still an acceptable practice. That’s probably how all this started if I had to guess.

As an ex-mo, I can say Mormon moms are terrifying. Especially influencer Mormon Moms. There’s a constant air of Too-Perfect-ness about them, it’s scary fr fr (EDITED TO ADD ON) Seeing them dressed with V necks, showing stomach, etc, is strange because I remember that being frowned upon in the community. When I comes to Polygamy, that has been refuted by mainstream Mormonism, and FLDS, or Fundamentalist Mormons, are the ones who still ever so somewhat accept polygamy. This is a weird situation all around, especially looking at it from the Ex-Mormon side of this
