I wish to be as fast as (or faster than) him one day and to hopefully run in college as well (I'm a sophomore in HS.) I can't imagine what it's like to run 90 MILES IN 1 WEEK!!! Great work. As a cross country coach I will just say that some of my best runners are former dancers. dancing builds the achilles and ankles like no other sport and those are REALLY important for running. It takes an untrained athlete 8-12 months to build ankle and achilles strength for running you already have that strength!

You prolly won't see this - but your knees crash in pretty hard when you run so to keep healthy if you plan on building up mileage you should do things like SL RDLs and SL Squats through varying ranges of motion to build the glute support it will take to not get hurt as you build mileage (as a dancer Those ranges of motion should be easy but the repetition will stress you a bit)

The pain in your calf is caused by Tendonitis. Tendonitis is formed when you have not worked out the muscle previously and then you start working vigorous exercises. I got tendonitis when I first started track because I was not in shape enough. All you can do to help it, is to ice it, wrap it in a bandage and keep exercising that muscle, so that it can hold your tendon down. :)

8:03 The cramp happens because there is a need of electrolytes (by sweating during the run you lose lots of it). Propping up the legs does nothing for cramps, since circulation is not tied to losing electrolytes. If you feel light headed though, it’s good to prop up your legs like you did and have the head at a lower position, so the blood can easily get to the head without the heart having to pump extra hard to get the blood there. I suppose it’s like riding down hill on a bike that it’s the equivalent of, when one puts the legs in a higher position to get blood to the brain quicker and easier. ❤Electrolytes is good to prepare yourself with in advance, during and after of a run! This will prevent you from having cramps right after your run or in the night after a run. I swam for over two hours once and woke up in the middle of the night, with a massive cramp in my thighs, because I had skipped topping up my electrolytes (had none before, during or after). *Never again!*
