I really like this chic. She’s professional, smart, RESPONSIBLE, honest, straightforward, and states her experiences and opinions without being disrespectful. I trust her in other words. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. Hopefully truth and light is shed in areas that need to be and that things will change for the better, especially in this industry and L’s team/work culture.

There’s no doubt that celebrities in general are targets for things like this. The problem I have with these accusations is that all these people go along with this so-called abuse and even praise the artist until one day it’s suddenly an issue? You have to ask yourself whether or not these people were cool with the behavior at the time and then later tried to use whatever they could pull out of their a$$ as an excuse to get some money. We’ve all done things we either regret or realize was inappropriate, but that doesn’t mean we weren’t willing participants at the time. If they didn’t like the treatment or the “pressure” that was put on them, then they should have refused to participate and quit. Simple.

You got it wrong. The first three women filed their law suit direct against Lizzo for aggressive and self loathing behavior. Quite frankly, I had already observed Lizzo to be of that female kind. Aad she is very uncomfortable with herself and it's not limited to her plus size weight either......It tends to be the only one who did not go directly after Lizzo is this one (the fashion designer). Regardless, you are responsible and should be held accountable for your work structure that you are a part of. Too, it's not painting a reliable picture for the Black Business Coalition nor for Beyonce who continues to shout out Lizzo's name. They obviously are enabling her because she is affiliated with JayZ's setup. It's way over due for BLACK MINDSET ones to take responsibility and be held accountable for their aggressive/toxic/inappropriate conduct toward African American PEOPLE. To be honest... BLACK MINDSET BEHAVIOR is what defines being a BIGGER. As we know JayZ's first reported DIAMOND record is "NIGGER IN PARIS", so he knows what the reference is all about. You would think any one claiming to be a BILLIONAIRE would have more self concern and respect than to put themselves on any stage...and a GLOBAL platform makes it double their 99 problems +.

Having worked for a black owned company as a non black employee I saw toxic behavior from higher up black management towards regular staff daily. It was absolutely terrible because they knew they could fet away with it with black staff but not with non black staff. I was fired after pointing out all of the unprofessional bs 😂 one of my good friends stayed because she had to (black employee), she is quitting soon after a tirade of abuse from higher up. No lunch breaks, unprofessional communication, expectations to work 24/7, name calling etc

@@pat-patersonit’s not discriminatory. And many times the brand (Lizzo or even a smaller company CEO) they have their go to person that sets the tone. It is up to the brand (Lizzo) to fix this. Also I had noticed that having any for of a legit HR or professionalism was considered white. And being unprofessional and hyper sexual in the work place considered pro black. This was weird to me because as someone who’s worked with people from Africa, Asia or the Middle East ( where work environments are even more strict) it’s always weird when Black American (the younger generation) feel that being professional is white when white people learned culture, religion and even things like professional culture from brown and black nations. This history is not taught in America. World history is always the Europeans conquered and we were barbarians. When that’s false. Europe was conquered by the Arabs first. Christianity started in Africa and was written by Black and brown people who then shared the gospel with the northern nations. I say all this to come to the conclusion that every system in America teaches Black people there less than. And so when any Black person gets power they feel they must be an oppressor to somebody. My previous job was a nightmare. The production manager spoke to her employees like garbage. The general manager would kiss the regional manager white 🍑. That job was the most toxic and unprofessional that I have ever had. I have never had a white manager disrespect me the way a black manager has. I do not want to ever work at a place where all the employees and managers are black.

Sounds very similar to the Ellen accusations. It was all mostly tied to management, particularly upper management. At the end of the day, the buck stops with the business owner. You could have on paper the best systems and processes in the world but bad managers could ruin everything.

The fact that she was let go after a short period of time reminds me there are two or more sides to a story. This is obviously one-sided. And since she never even met Lizzo I find it quite unprofessional of her to jump on the anti-Lizzo bandwagon when her issue was with one staffer. Not a great way to step out in the business world. We've all had issues with a specific person on the job but normally associate them with the person we have a problem with.

I don’t know about any of this, but I do know that the overall culture in texas is toxic. Lizzo is from a particularly toxic area of houston. I know this, because I live in Alief, and my mother has owned a home here for 42 years. I attended their schools, and I taught in their schools. I have a hard time thinking of a worse place.

I wouldn't be surprised if Lizzo actually did some of this stuff. Not trying to be rude but from my experience growing up the big/fat kids always were the bullies. And now I know that's because hurt people hurt people. So I can see that coming Lizzo because she always striked me as never really being truly happy with her size (I could be wrong). But to play devil's advocate, I do find it a bit crazy that anybody would stay working with someone for so long if they are getting mentally and physically abuse. And on that part, it's kind of their fault for being stupid and taking all of that just because she is a celebrity. 🤷🏽‍♀️

It is a lot of hostile work places in America not just lizzo work place but we employees don't sue the employer for it. I didn't know you can sue for that. Maybe I should sue my job for a hostile work place

The rack rolled over foot, she said her foot was hurting to the woman. But she didn't say to the woman the rack rolled over her foot. She wore comfortable shoes (the next day?) and was asked to change into tennis shoes. Were the tennis shoes uncomfortable? Being pushed, not cool.

Thank U. I lost count. For the record..... I can't name one employee (regardless of race) who didn't have an issue with someone in the industry. How do we handle it? 1. Be gracious. 2. Be grateful. 3. Thank them for the opportunity. 4. Don't burn your bridges. If she loses this suit. Her 'wanna-be-fashion career is over.

Lizzo needs to be proactive in speaking up. If its the people around her that is behaving this way, get rid and start again. Its not like she cant do this because I am sure ahe can. The more people who come forward time and again and she does nothing only means she is compliant with this behaviour and personally it just puts more red marks against her name, brand etc, etc..

Lawyers are involved , so she got to go through. Like Jhonny Depp did Amber did a media hatchet job when they got into court it was a different outcome both sides were heard.The public accusations are a way to put pressure on her to settle a financial amount Her attorneys are advising her now they got the bat &⚾️ thatis what they get paid to handle these problems they are experienced and ready.🤷‍♀️

Asha is a very articulate woman and I believe her. I believe the dancers too. I’m really disappointed in Lizzo. She should’ve owned up to her part in these allegations and apologized, and fired that awful woman who was so abusive. This isn’t going away and she may end up not having the same success as before these accusations came out.
