Something very similar happened to me. As a man, I will never accept a cheater back. There is no rational reason to invest in a relationship with a woman who has proven herself capable and willing to cheat and betray you. In terms of the story, i would have problems accepting the apology. You claimed you love me but wanted to see other people in the first place while i would of been down for you and only you. You then said that you tried to forget me and move on but couldn't. I feel like she iust wanted to get back because she couldn't move on, or was unable to find anyone to be with, not because she realized she made a mistake.

Yeah uh I might be forgiving and chill as a person but you best believe I’m not forgetting. Because if someone hurt me in any way or broke my trust, you’re out of your mind if you think I’ll take them back. By that point, they’re dead to me. The only thing they’d mean to me is sex and that’s all. Because the second someone hurts me or fucks up my trust, you become irrelevant. It’s cruel for sure but just because I’m a forgiving person doesn’t mean I don’t believe in revenge or hurting the person back.
