This cuts both ways for men *and* women. If someone isn't over their ex yet, then there's no point in pursuing that person. Period. They need room and time to process their emotions and the last place you want to be is in a "rebound relationship." Those never end well (unless you take it for what it is...revenge sex...and you avoid the temptation to get emotionally invested in what is for all intents and purposes a fling). Bottom line, if there's a lot of talk about the ex (good, bad or indifferent) then start making plans to move on ASAP.

Happened to me. Found out about the ex 3 months into the relationship and that they'd been in touch a few times and even met up and had sex. Burst out in anger but she asked for a second chance as she said she wanted to be with me and would do anything and everything for me to forgiver her. Couldn't forget couldn't forgive. Wanted revenge. Stayed on with her for another 4 months and acted nice so to get her become attached to me, shagged her almost everyday. Got bored and hated even seeing her. Dumped that b*tch in the bin and she went mad contacting me on all of my socials and even turning up at my place as I was ignoring her. I promise you bro revenge tasted sweeter knowing that she became attached to me. Wouldn't recommend this though, you're better off just dumping her. But this one deserved this.
