Laura S. She’s not over it, if you can’t forgive a person that’s the very definition of holding on. Forgiveness doesn’t equal flowers and sunshine it means taking an anchor off that YOU are carrying around. It’s liberating to let a sincere apology pass...contempt (aka not forgiving) is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die. Pointless.
