Ex libris released a trilogy about 3 historical figures all called Ann. Chapter 1. Ann Boleyn, Chapter 2.Anastasia Romanov and Chapter 3. Anne Frank. You might recognize the lead singer, opera powerhouse Dianne van Giersbergen. She was the lead singer of Xandria, you reacted to a couple of songs from Xandria.

Btw you will NEVER get copyrighted with Ex Libris. Fully crowd funded, Dianne makes jewellery and Kickstarter and Bandcamp funded. Dianne has had bad experiences with labels and prefers being independent.

I love Ex-Libris! This trilogy is awesome! I also love, love, love Dianne. She's anamazing singer (her dramatic soprano is to die for) but also a very sweet human being. The band also responds to most comments on their KZbin channel from my personal experience, and are very sweet overall.

Dianne is on a technically level the dame level as our beloved Floor. The only différence is Tuomas.

@@doeschkawardenaar8571 Well, there are more differences, I'll say. Floor is versatile and has dabbled in many different singing techniques while Dianne seems to be staying in a more classical one so far (not saying she wouldn't dabble in other techniques, or isn't versatile), and Floor has quite a bit more experience than Dianne. Dianne is also a professional opera singer that has her masters in classical singing, while Floor has a masters in singing several different genres, so she's not a "true" opera singers that could be hired by and Opera house like Dianne would. So they have their differences in how they came to be singing like they are. But I agree that both are powerhouses with very distinctive voices. Amazing women, the both of them. I'm getting more and more infatuated with Dianne the more I learn about her too, so yeah, another girl crush to add to my little list, haha!

Not sure if said but she was last full time singer of Xandria but left due to problems with band. You recently did Theater of Dimensions from Xandria. she was the singer on that. She is classically trained. Another Dutch talent.

She is not only trained for classical singing, but also opera singing, which is really rare, and thus leads to her extremely powerful voice. As far as i know, there are only 2 metal singers trained in opera singing, those are Dianne van Giersbergen (Xandria, Ex-Libris), and Tarja Turunen (former Nightwish)

Another Dutch Singing Goddess, Dianne van Giersbergen (God how do the Dutch produce such amazing female vocalists??). The Ann trilogy is well worth the listen and yes Dianne used to be lead vocalist for Xandria who you have watched recently. Fan funded band fully independent and Dianne is into a lot of other arts as well. You should do a reaction to the Dutch Goddesses (Floor, Simone, Sharon, Anneke, Charlotte and Dianne) then again there are other Dutch vocalists leading other great lesser named bands like Burning Witches, etc...
