+Paul Mcdonough Most SAS are English because the population of England is 10 times larger than Scotland - 50+million as opposed to 5+million, a relevant point you chose to ignore. Nobody has ever claimed that most SAS are Scots. Where did you get that notion from? What IS said (and it is a fact) is that there are a disproportionately larger number of Scots in the SAS than one might expect, given the relative populations of England and Scotland. That is entirely different from any claim that there are more Scots than English in the SAS. There would have to be something drastically wrong if, in spite of having ten times the population, there were fewer English troopers than Scots in the SAS. Anyone who makes such a claim is an idiot...
