Ex UK official warns Israel wants to see regime change in Iran

“...Anything with a regime change component in it doesn’t really lend itself to good outcomes. And particularly in Tehran at the moment, we don’t know what that would look like.”
Former UK Foreign Office official Charlie Gammell has expressed concerns over Israel’s recent discussions about regime change in Iran.
He highlighted the significant danger of “miscalculation”, where one side, particularly Israel, might incorrectly interpret perceived weaknesses in Tehran or Beirut, and use it as an advantage to “redraw the map in the region”.
