Former UK Foreign Office official Charlie Gammell has expressed concerns over Israel’s recent discussions about regime change in Iran.
He highlighted the significant danger of “miscalculation”, where one side, particularly Israel, might incorrectly interpret perceived weaknesses in Tehran or Beirut, and use it as an advantage to “redraw the map in the region”.
