Frans story is so true. My 8th grade algebra teacher told said to me in front of the whole class “the world needs ditch diggers”. I’m now 35, have 0 debt, and have a fully built c6z that I paid for in cash. You don’t have to be a genius to be successful. A direction and work ethic will get you anything you want.

Owner of the yellow one here. I am not sure what clutch is in it. I bought it that way. You get used to it after driving it for awhile. Thanks for the little bit of footage. Can’t wait to get home from vacation and actually drive it.

Be careful, rough clutch has left me with a hip that's not happy and a knee that complains. Thankfully I found a different master cylinder for my car (not a Vet) that had a better ratio and the same clutch works like butter! Doing a one leg press can screw you up if you aren't careful after awhile.

I'm an Ontario Canada guy, if I was to get any work done it would be RIGHT to RPM for sure. Wouldn't care if it was 5000 miles and 5 k. Top notch work so you can enjoy the car . Dazed and confused for the win Fran 🏆

Not sure I'd want to make a living at it but it's not a bad thing to learn a bit about what's come before. Sure are lots of people these days that have screwed up ideas about the past...

FWIW, being in the trades doesn't mean that someone isn't super smart nor does having a degree mean that someone has smarts. I've met plenty of folks with advanced degrees that can barely tie their shoes

Above Washington state would be British Columbia or Alberta. Long way to RPM, well over 3000 miles. Shops in Canada just dont seem to exist, or have very poor reputations for shit work or bad tunes.

No point in taping up for 20 minutes. If something falls in we will pull it out. There is no valve train so the valves are closed.
