I’ve slowly become inactive over the past 3 years. Time to step it up! Hearing talk of kingdoms below the Celestial scares the heck out of me. I don’t want to be without my wife and son for even a second in the afterlife. I’m regretful for the 3 years my little boy has missed out because we haven’t prioritized living the Gospel. This GC really hit me! Especially Carlos Godoy’s story in the Taxi.

happy to read this Ryan. I have been on a long meandering path which included jail and some periods of lesser inactivity but the past few years Ive been on a much straighter path and I find so much more peace and productivity on it

I understand where you’re coming from, Ryan. I don’t mean to pick on your words, but I would like to suggest something. Fifteen years ago I reactivated after several years of inactivity. When I went back to the temple for the first time in many years, I realized that I didn’t return to the Covenant Path out of fear but out of joy and happiness of being with my Lord and family forever. Hearing of the lower kingdoms doesn’t scare me because I know I’m not going there. Hearing of the Celestial Kingdom thrills me because I know that my Savior has plowed the path for me to get there and that Heavenly Father wants me there even more than I do. You do not have to be perfect to inherit the Celestial Kingdom. If we could get there on our own, we wouldn’t need a Savior! We just need to follow him whose “yoke is easy and [whose] burden is light” (Matthew 11:30) and keep “his commandments [that] are not grievous.” (1 John 5:3). Remember that repentance is not a painful punishment, but a great blessing. Think of the reception the prodigal son received from his father when he repented and returned home. (Luke 15:11-32) When you return to your Father’s house - the temple - you will recall that you “by the grace of God are perfect in Christ, and deny not his power, then are ye sanctified in Christ by the grace of God, through the shedding of the blood of Christ, which is in the covenant of the Father unto the remission of your sins, that ye become holy, without spot.” (Moroni 10:33)

It's so true, we forgotten our royal lineage, the lineage of gods. We have a lot of work to do and a lot of self mastery to perfect ourselves before God. Since, no unclean thing can inherit the Kingdom of God, we had to armed ourselves with knowledge, obedience and endurance to all things that gonna come our way, because the battle is fierce for the Kingdom of God and his childrens. I choose to live the Celestial Glory and ask the Lord to help me do so. I know that the Lord comes in my affliction and comforts me since I have made with him a covenant in immersion with the water at baptism.And visit the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Temple in Durban and Johannesburg Temples of South Africa.And go for Sabbath ,to renew the covenant of baptism.And read the Book of Mormon and the bible (KJV)The Lord covenants with me and delivers me out of bondage in the name of Jesus Christ.

The more classes we attend and the more knowledge that we gain will lead us to different positions in life. To become a doctor or a nurse or a lawyer or anything of that nature you have to take a lot of different courses to qualify. There's stipulations and all things. I would like to ask a question. What will happen to me I haven't met someone yet and I haven't been sealed in the temple? My greatest desire was that I wanted to be a wife and a mother and I haven't met anyone yet. And to live with my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I love my Saviour so much I want to be with him,live with him and be with my father in heaven also. I love my Saviour so much and I have a strong testimony, faith in Jesus Christ I love him so much that it brings tears to my eyes and I feel it so much in my heart. I have never stopped loving the Saviour and because of my faith even before I come a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter day saints, I have always had a strong testimony of Jesus Christ and I have always been so grateful and thankful for what he did for me and everyone else making it possible for us all to return back home to our Heavenly Father in heaven. I know that God lives and that Jesus Christ is the son of God and that he loves me and so does my father in heaven and understands what I have been through,gone through and the desire of my heart. Heavenly Father will not leave you stranded without a mate and He will not penalize you if you have done your best to find your heavenly companion. As you know, His main purpose is to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man which requires that you have a mate, so you can fulfill His desires. So, don't worry sister. He has your back. Continue to have faith that He will take care of it. ;)

Thank you for answering my reply, their was one man that I loved with a love unconditional and I still love him to this very day, he supported me while I was on my mission even though he was not a member of the church but in the end things did not turn out. As I said to my Bishop, I sacrificed so much, given so much, and lost the man that I love to someone else, but we still keep in touch as good friends. Thanks for the reassurance that my Heavenly Father will look out and I have my back if not I don't find a mate I always joke I'll be an angel instead but I know my father in heaven knows my heart desire one day will be fulfilled. I hope you are all well. I’ve never been a LDS but I have many friends and family who are. I wondered what a Celestial marriage meant since I wasn’t familiar with that term or Kingdom Marriages either.

Hi, as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we believe that we can be sealed to our earthly companions for time and all eternity if the marriage is performed and sealed by the proper priesthood authority in one of our temples. Especially where the scriptures tell us that what is bound on earth is also bound in heaven when the proper priesthood authority is used to perform the ceremony. Once we do this and we honestly choose to truly follow the Savior, His teachings, our prophet, the 12 apostles, etc., and we live this covenant without fail, we can be rewarded with the highest level of eternal life in the Celestial kingdom where God the Father and His son Jesus Christ reside. Moreover, we also stay married to our spouses and have our children as a family unit (assuming they choose to live righteously) for eternity instead of being separated at death as the Law of Moses teaches. what about the members of the church who are serial temple spouses? I'm referring to the men and women who have experienced multiple temple marriages. They form Brady-bunch families, but they do this over and over again. These marriages feel 'disposable', and these family trees feel 'Romanesque' in their easy mode of adoption and divorce. There is something undeniably UN-holy about this dogma.
