To be fair, GUO's are also really powerful. Lore of Nurgle on a unit with such a large hp pool that still has very respectable combat stats is brutal.

@Xanagin Bear in mind these are lords at level 6: Exalted Bloodthirsters do admittedly start out underwhelming but they have a LOT of room to grow if you fill out their yellow skill branch. A fully-leveled Bloodthirster would probably wipe the floor with an equivalent GUO.

It's being debuffed by poison the entire fight by 15 percent in all stats. The unclean one is also healing itself. The bloodthirster can also fly over walls and seek out targets or be used like flying cavalry. They aren't supposed to just be in a long term fight the way unclean ones are. Head to head does not mean "better"

Great Unclean One has fkin 5k plus hp, its literally more then 50% of the Bloodthirster HP pool, plus his poison and debuffs against the Bloodthirster did the rest

Nurgle's the most powerful when it comes to the grind game, Kugath will beat Skarbrand too. Only with cycle charging could the Exalted Bloodthirster have won here, I'm pretty sure.

in duel, Nurgle is one of strongest if not outright strongest in game...there is no need to question that...., shit ton of HP,great melee defense ,healing ,rancid and poison....it is hard for any unit in same price range to Defeat Nurgle greater daemon lord.... Take E.GUO against Melee focus faction...you know ....Khorne for example ....and he will almost always pay for himself

I feel like Exalted GUO's are why Isabella von Carstein's defeat trait was basically dummied out of the game. Because dear god can you imagine a fully-leveled Exalted GUO with regeneration? They'd solo entire armies.

Not really, they already have access to healing and it's easy to get then to the healing cap in battle even without regen. They are good generic lords, but not really 1 man army material like most of the legendary lords are. They'd need the bullshit items like sok and nemesis crown.

Ik Khorne brainless fanboys can't see the true grace and glory of our grandfather, but to be honest that's sort of Nurgle's game right there. The long 1v1 grind is his specialty, nurgle stuff ARE SUPPOSED to win in thosesituations. Khorne shouldwin with the help with other units in it's army, tzeench should win with magic and Slaanesh should win on the engagement game using it's speed and utility

Khorne is literally based around 1v1s, and that's why all his champions specialize in 1v1s, such as Kharn, skulltaker, arbaal, etc. Nurgle's gimmick is tankiness and damage over time via diseases.

god, khorne units really do need some buffs. allmost all of their monsters are bad, and infantry hasn't been relevant for a long time
