What I am finding is I love the truth. That was never the problem the Bible has gods word and feeds us. The brothers intentionally or not intentionally have added their twist in certain subjects and because it’s surrounded by gods word which is so good and brilliant it was easy to gulp it down too. Like Eric has mentioned it’s certain scriptures they’ve used to suit their own agendas. Maybe not with bad intentions but the bottom line is their credibility doesn’t look good. You cannot mix a little poison in with great health food and just hope no one will ever notice. If you guys can point me to the video talking about disfellowshipping I’d appreciate it. I’ve been watching so many of these things I have lost track.

I don't think that the majority of JW 's are aware that they are preaching false doctrines. How can you be held accountable when one is unconscious. Jesus said to " forgive them for they not knoweth what they are doing". Be nice if you would have a little empathy for these ones. Most of them are at least trying to be upright honest people who love the God they worship. They just don't know any better. I was once upon a time just like these ones.

I have been informing many about another sign that is to be proclaimed. It is not about Jesus dying on the cross it is about coming again as King and High Priest in the manner of Melchizedek Hebrews 5:10; 6:20 and chapter 7. For that to happen God Almighty purposed that His son would come into this world born from a woman's DNA from the linage of David. In the second coming the Father purposed that he would again bring His Firstborn into the inhabited earth by being born in the linage of Phinehas whose offspring had a covenant of a priesthood to time indefinite (Numbers 25:10-13). The sign in Revelation 12:1-5 is misinterpreted by all religionists and they all refuse to relinquish their falsehood. Will these Beroeans be any different? The salvation of the world depends on the truth of that sign being made manifest as it reads by the word of God from Genesis to the end of Revelation. God promised he would again bring His Firstborn into the inhabited earth Hebrews 1:6.. What did God Almighty mean 'again'? Well he meant just that he would 'AGAIN' bring His Firstborn into the inhabited earth and he did on Saturday 5th June 1971 at midnight that new born King and High Priest was caught away to God and to His throne before the serpent could devour the woman's child. There is a scroll found at Qumran named 'The Chosen Ones' that has a partial message of a birth that corresponds more with Revelation 12:1,2,5, than the birth of the Son of God as the Lamb of God according to John 17:4-21. For that is what Revelation is about the second coming as written throughout the whole bible for the sign of the end before judgment. Read Genesis 49:10 ;25,26 and see if you can get the sense of that prophesy as foretold by the Jewish patriarch Jacob.

Twice, of all things Paul, died and many Christians before John was inspired to write those things. They were full blown true Christians, without John's gospel and letters, or the book of Revelation. Do we need them now? Sure, by all means. Just like all true Christians needed it by the turn of the 1st century. Put guess what? Most of it was sealed, even for them to fully understand. So, when did God unsealed it?

They seem to be dividing their congregation into classes using their own terms 'This class and that class and their anointed and their 'other sheep'. Christ's return is something we all look forward to in which ever way He chooses. For us it is to be ready. I read the scriptures you quoted as I love reading the written word of God. Much I do not understand and indeed I hear so many different view points on so many different subjects. I try to simplify matters down to basics for want of a better term. I find most Christians believe the gospel of repentance and forgiveness and that Jesus 'Yeshuah' the son died for us and that God our Father raised him from the dead to life and will return soon I hope. All religions, Faiths and or organisations teach some truths mixed in any ratio with the doctrines of men, ie; non-truths. Your date fixing of June 1971 tells me that you are in error just as Jehovah's Witnesses. But I thank you for your comments. Clearly I am not as learned as you in the scriptures as I cannot read very well and don't understand many of the highly disputed and argued over scriptures of the revelation. When I listen to Eric’s videos I fee So reassured I just smile at the fact that I was deceived such a big part of my life. I fee nothing but disdain for the leadership of the organisation. The constant bombardment made us dizzy and many don’t care and most are just stuck because of the fear and pain of being shunned by family. I know because being shunned bu almost everyone you know truly hurts but it does not hurt more than being abused with the crap doctrine that we were constantly force fed.

radiomanze1 indeed! It is a very weird usage of the word “friends” I don’t have any JW friends. I had 8 million they told me ;) but say you think the Watchtower is wrong on a few points then you will have extremely few in a couple of weeks time. And if you don’t run and hide you will be disfellowshipped. I have had such a good time over the years and have been treated very very well by some kind people. But also bullied by plenty of people. I but the price of that community is lying. And that feels weird I’d say “I am in the truth”... And easy decision to make eventually. But very hard to go live with the consequences. But I will drink the cup that has been handed me. But don’t ask me to smile 😊

Yep,... Matthew 24:14. Watchtower's interpretation kept us relentlessly knocking on those doors,... even doors of empty vacation cabins and doors that said "no soliciting". Poor people that we wouldn't leave alone. Whereas, people who liked us and wanted us as friends,... well, we didn't have time for them, because we had to keep meeting for field service and knocking on more doors. I was born in. It is always painful to learn that we've been deceived and misled all our lives, but what a relief to finally learn the truth. I look back on it all as a training program, because we have had to learn obedience as our Lord did. (Hebrews 5:8) Our Lord learned it in 33 1/2 years, with the final 3 1/2 being the hardest, but I think most of us are much slower learners--at least I am. 😂 It might seem like a strange term--"learning obedience"--but it is much more complex than just learning to follow orders. The law of God is the law of love, and learning to love others as our Father loves us is difficult because of the many times we are tried by the failings and even outright wickedness of some of our human siblings. But in the end, it "works out for us a glory that is of more and more surpassing greatness and is everlasting." (2 Corinthians 4:16-18)

To the collisions verse you can add this one: Luke 2:1: “Now in those days a decree went out from Caesar Au·gusʹtus for ALL THE INHABITED EARTH to be registered.” Certainly they were not registering “all the inhabited earth.” For them, “all the inhabited earth” meant merely the local area where they lived. (See also Acts 2:5; Acts 11:28; Luke 4:25)

My dear grandmother, who died almost fifty years ago, partook of the emblems as one of the anointed. Her death cut me to the heart because, by Jehovah’s Witnesses’s teaching, our future lives would be separate,...she going to heaven, and me being of the “other sheep” who would live on earth. I felt inconsolable, and had no one with whom to share this terrible loss. This was the teaching of the Watchtower Society. i was in great anticipation for this video and now that ive seen it all i can say is wowww. its very clear now how the watchtower is diametrically opposed to the true good news. im a fading JW and my immediate family is not part of the organization thankfully. i still have JW family that is still very entrenched and happy in their doctrine. they recently equated even jokingly that the recent new world translation of the scriptures into Spanish on the same level as the New Order coming. the scripture about the pharisees blocking the way to the kingdom of the heavens and not going in themselves was powerful and applicable. i will definitely be sharing these scriptures in a effort to open minds to their true hope in Mashiach Yahusha in as loving a way as possible. i feel obligated to give them the truth of the scriptures. they may never accept it yet i will have told them anyway. we all have an individual choice. all we can do is share the real good news. thank you for the clear and concise explanation brother as always and may Yahuah continue to bless your efforts through his Son Yahusha Hamashiach.

Fayley A - I am in the same boat as you. I'm trying desperately to wake my husband up but he is very resistive. Feels strongly that despite imperfections JWs are the organization Jehovah is using. I can't stand going to meetings and pretending, dodging questions why I don't answer, where have I been, etc. etc. I told my husband I can only pretend for a few months to give him time to wake up and for us to exit together. If he doesn't I'm going to stop going and let the chips fall where they may. The real concern for me is my kids - the older two are talking about baptism. Hi Lori Jane , thanks for the support. I already have baptized children who are very very much in, so I’m not going anywhere. I preach only informally and only savior by Christ. I’m trying to get what spiritual encouragement that I can from the brotherhood and ignore the leadership , much like the Israelites would have had to in the time when High Priest Eli’s corrupt sons were priests. I feel I have to warn them etc. which means I will be outed and a tug-of-war will begin over the kids. I don't want to do that to them but I can't stand by and let them keep get indoctrinated. Eric missed out Rev 16:15...He used the elipsis. It could even be that Armageddon is the "place" that the ones who "stay awake" (from verse 15) are "gathered to", whereas the kings of the earth are gathered to the war. Those gathered to the Mountain of Megiddo are safe from the battle on the plain of Megiddo. Just a thought.

Very interesting series. Thank you for making it. In my old age i have gained a better understanding of Matthew chapter 24. It all makes perfect sense. Since leaving the organization, i have struggled with the true understanding of this particular chapter of the bible. Although coming to the conclusion that the governing body is not who or what they claim to be, and knowing that they are teaching falsehoods, it is still difficult to shirk certain indoctrinations. After all, they do beat it into your head with a sledge hammer (so to speak), year after year after year.

Thank you, Eric, for this video. I have greatly appreciated many of your past articles, too. As a (former, of course) WT conductor, they were even helpful to me during the WT study at the Kingdom Hall, so I could ask the right questions. :). Of course, I was then advised not to ask questions nobody, including the elders, could answer. :) However, those questions also helped my wife to realize what's going on. In this video I particularly appreciated your willingness to understand the notion "the inhabited Earth" or "the nations" as people in the 1st century would. Much of the mess created by theologians and religious teachers today actually stems from a wrong understanding of Hebrew and Greek terms and idioms, or understanding Hebrew ideas from a Greek (not necesarily philosophical, but more modern, or Western, and INACCURATE) point of view. Basically, it may just be the problem of TRANSLATION. Nevertheless, I believe that simply considering the context of the Bible can be of great help if we want to understand what did the original writers really have in mind. And we don't need to be translators, or learn Greek or Hebrew to get the point. It may be helpful, but it's not crucial. For example, what did Jesus have in mind when he asked the Pharisees: "The baptism of John, was it from HEAVEN or from MEN?" He was actually asking whether it was GOD who commissioned John to baptize or the mandate to baptize came from John himself or other men, right? So, this is basically the meaning of the expression "from heaven", as understood by the Jews in 1st century. Could this clarification also shed different, non-Gnostic, light on other passages? And then, terms like "flesh", "sent", "parousia", "Son of God" and others, may also have been misunderstood. Anyway, keep up the good work. Looking forward to your next video.

Me always thought it's weird that at the kingdom hall bible studies no one is allowed to ask anything, but the conductor on the platform to the auditorium, why they never say: "someone has a question or a point that needs to be clarified?" that would NEVER happen. it's also strange that when the overseer visits a congregation the answers are assigned to the inner circle JW (pioneers) and they practice over and over to get the meeting perfectly done 😏

Very concise breakdown. The level playing field you mention sounds to my ears like the doctrine of purgatory, as does the unrighteous hope. Also, the description of the final sealing and end of the world sound like the catholic doctrine of the world's end, not accounting for grace vs works or anything like that but the basic framework. I'm not saying that is the intent or that I am correct but that is how it sounds to me based on descriptions given to me from catholics (and I would have no issue with that).

Jesus told his disciples “Look i am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.” Matthew 28:20 I used to think that the system of things Jesus referred to will end after Armageddon but does it? If so, this would imply that Jesus would not be with us during his reign for 1000 years. Therefore, I now understand this to mean that he will be with us until the very end when the last enemy death is brought to nothing and he turns the kingdom over to Jehovah after accomplishing all of Jehovahs will. 1 Corinthians 15:24 Does anyone agree with this?

It's as plain as day Yeshua was not talking about the present world but the end of the Jewish system of his day. 40 years after his death, all the events he spoke about took place. It is more attractive and pleasant for many of them to invest their hopes in a future they can easily imagine: endless life on earth in a forever youthful body and so forth, and on top of that, to feel commendably humble for not pretending to be part of those who will "rule from heaven".

The bulk of humanity will be resurrected as unrighteous to be judged and if they are granted life, they will live as humans on earth. However, for the children of God that are now, their hope is heavenly, which doesn't mean living in heaven, but rather ruling on earth with heavenly authority. (Rev. 5:10 BSB)
