Sir in that F4 can I do 90 minus 35 to find the degree on the horizontal?
@easyscienceprep74452 ай бұрын
Yes, you can do that. It will give you the angle made by force with horizontal.

Can u kindly clarify for me why you equated 75cos 90°= -75 and 75 sin 90° = 0
@easyscienceprep74452 ай бұрын
It is 75cos(-180) = -75 and 75 sin(-180) =0. By the way I have done it differently, Since 75 is acting towards negative direction of x-axis , it has only -ve x- component, that is -75 in x-direction and no y-component that is 0 in y- direction. Please go through the video, y will understand easily.

How do you determine the tensions and Mass

Can you explain why on F4 , y component is 45cos35 and x component is 45sine35???? Please
@easyscienceprep7445 Жыл бұрын
F4 is making 35 degree angle with y- axis hence y- component is F4cos35 And F4 is making (90-35)degrees with x- axis hence its x component will be F4 cos(90-35) =F4 sin35.

I also wanna understand that part

on f4 Y component should be sin and X should be cos right?

Angle made by F4 with y-axis (Vertical axis) is 35 degrees hence F4y= F4 x cos35 and F4x= F4xsin35
