Thank you sir but there are a few points I needed more explanations as a beginner . For example, some calculations that you skipped by saying then we calculate. I wanted to learn exactly how the calculations are made

Thank you for the great video! I am a student of FAST University and I have a question about Problem 2.14 Part A. Without transformers, what would be the efficiency? In the solution manual, the angle of the load impedance is taken as the same angle of the line impedance. Is that correct? Does this mean the efficiency would be 89% or 77%? Please let me know as it would be very helpful. Thank you!
@ElectricalEngineeringAcademy Жыл бұрын
To my understanding, the Solution manual is wrong. Angle 36.87 should be used.

Teacher I still don't understand why line loss we don't think a about reactive (x) in this
@ElectricalEngineeringAcademy9 ай бұрын
Its little difficult to understand. Let me try. Resistance absorbes power. Reactance donot (what is dose is absorbes power for half cycle and returnes power back in the other half cycle, so net power consumed is zero)

If by adding or subtracting 360 with the angle, you get what I have, then don't worry, your answer is also correct.
