I hate dynamics and get nothing out of lecture, but when I watch videos like yours it finally clicks. Thank you for helping us moron's understand, and please keep making more videos.

thank you for your question and noticing that error!! I think I forgot a negative sign for the mg*cos(theta) at 2:58. I'll have to annotate the video.

Why are we adding a negative sign??...can we just assume wcostita and wsintita?

hi, can it also be solved with the radial and transverse components ?

Great video! When you integrate @ 32 sec., where did you get -1 and -4?

hey, just want to ask why the mgsin(theta) became positive since the video from the previous video, the W has a negative sign .

The equations at the beginning and the one at 2:58 dont match Is there any reason for it?

Enjoyed your video, very helpful in learning dynamics. I noticed at the end you get 56.86cos(ϴ)-23.24N. I did the same problem and got 37.39cos(ϴ)N from next to last step (56.9961-2g)cos(ϴ). Thought you should know.

Where do the -1 and -4 come from?
@PrinceAbubu599 жыл бұрын
-1 comes when he evaluates the integral (cosϴ - cos(o)) and -4 you get that after evaluating the other integral (v^2 - 2^2 ) He basically skipped that one baby step from cal 2

in the first step we found -mgcosq+Nb=mv^2/q but after he transfer it to positive i think he made a mistake about it
@structurefree9 жыл бұрын
Serkut Aktas yes, at 2:40, I forgot to include the negative sign...the equation should be -mg*cos(theta) + N_B = mv^2/rho. thank you!
@BrandonDeehan6 жыл бұрын
@4:45 shouldn't the answer be Nb= 19.62N*cos(theta)-23.24N

I know it's old, but it should be + 2kg(9.81)cos(theta) // not negative(-) 2kg ... And he updated it but not visible until the video end.

im so confused idk why i cant figure it out but how did you get 5.81 @1:28
@josiahkwong-wah42637 жыл бұрын
me too, have you figured it out yet?
@Mohammad127656 жыл бұрын
yeah where is comes from? should not it be +4
@kennethforonda17526 жыл бұрын
seriously, how did he arrived a 5.81 value
@CodyKoehler6 жыл бұрын
This is old, but if others have the question. He added the 4m²/s² to both sides after multiplying both sides by two. It moves it from right side to left.

This problem can easily be solved using Conservation of Energy.
