Your last comment is so true. I found combat clunky and couldn't help but dread retrying the main game (kept dying to the first hatchet zombie). After practicing a while, combat is really fun and everything that happens one way or another is earned

My first experience with Exanima, gave me a really "Alone in the dark" vibe ! It sent me strait back to the 90's. Realistic physics is the way to go, lots of games have impressive graphics and absolutely shitty physics!

lol ive owned this game for YEARS and the combat always felt so unintuitive, but i could sense a great game in there somewhere so i never got salty about it. i decided to try it again (after years) just mere minutes ago, watched 5 minutes of this this vid, and immediately the combat feels natural enough lol.

Revise has been confusing the hell out of me, I thought I had to release the button and replica to swing from the other side, I didn't realize I could just hold the attack down and the second attack would just follow automatically... that's huge.

Wasn't Cursor Look on space by default in one of the first versions? At least it confused me when I had to change this later. But I also recommend space.

Nice! But in the first fight I die! And the game don't save! So you must start the game over and over again! Better to play the game.And then learn!

its not that bad lol especially v 0.9, they’re just tank controls. if u have a forklift certificate, you can probably play this game easily.

tbh the navigation point is valid, the maps are enormous with empty useless rooms that create corridors in themselves with tough enemies, of course the more dangerous they are the more it is hard to avoid them

Took youradvice. got the game again, used this to learn the basics. But in the end found out I can setup a gamepad to work with this game. I can finally move and control myself more fluently which is a big help. So, time to give it a second shot, thanks, Keep the video's coming.

There aren't character levels, but skill level-ups. You have to press the keybind for the skill tree (k by default) and select a new skill to learn from there. Hope that helps!
